Course Requirements

p 96, Krnsa Book One, Ch 14 1st para; You are glittering with a silver electric aura emanating from Your yellow garments!" Lord Brahma said.

Mantra to be sung before readings;

Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna, Hey!
Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna, Hey!
Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna raksa mam !
Krsna Kesava Krsna Kesava Krsna Kesava pahi mam!
Rama Raghva Ramam Raghava Rama Raghava raksa mam!
Krsna Kesava Krsna Kesava Krsna Kesava pahi mam!

The requirement is to read each and every chapter of the Krsna Books, and offer three insights or experiences etc specifically about the content of that chapter, in writing, in the discussion devoted to that chapter. These three comments must show that the individual poster has indeed read the chapter, not merely be copied, and of three or so sentences per item comment.

An exampleDiscussion on; Chapter One; 1. That is so amazing how the demigods all got together. Lord Brahma's prayers were very nice; purusa sukta.

2. Kamsa is such a racal! And Vasudeva quite the talker! How dare that creep Kamsa threaten Krsna's Mom! I'll kick his butt!

3. Narada Muni speaks from the sky a lot. He kinda plays the role of creating situations.

These comments would do as my requirement to demonstrate reading chapter one.

When three hopefully insightful comments have been posted for all the chapters in Krsna book, the course is complete. At that time, inform the class by posting a note to that effect, that you have read all,  among the comments immediately below here on the front page, and it will be checked, and your Name will be listed immediately below this message as completeing the class requirements, and passed.

"So the presence of Maya is not a very wonderful thing. But what is wonderful is when a sincere soul decides to turn away from the attraction of Maya and decides to serve Krishna in pure unalloyed devotional service."

"Please accept my blessings. I beg to thank you for your letter of August 14th, 1969, and I have noted the contents carefully. I am pleased to learn that you are now chanting 16 rounds daily, eating Bhagavat Prasadam, reading Bhagavad-gita, and going on Sankirtana Party. All of these things will save you, as they will save anyone who persists in Krishna Consciousness faithfully and sincerely. Actually, the presence of Maya should not surprise us because this is the Kingdom of Maya. All of the uncountable living entities in the uncountable universes are generally to be found under the stringent grip of Maya's power.

So the presence of Maya is not a very wonderful thing. But what is wonderful is when a sincere soul decides to turn away from the attraction of Maya and decides to serve Krishna in pure unalloyed devotional service. So this is what we should fix our attention to: serving Krishna sincerely. Then automatically the influence of Maya will become nil and we can remember our eternal loving relationship with the Supreme Lord. But as long as we are attracted by the nonsense glittering of Maya's call, this pure state of consciousness cannot be realized within the heart. So continue assisting Upendra as you are doing it now, and I am sure Krishna will help you in all respects."

I find it reassuring and pleasant just to hold one of Prabhupada's books in my hand!

If ever one is afraid, angry, hurting in pain, lonely or lost, please just pick up this Krsna book and read; you will find solace and comfort there.

Similar To Morphine: The Best Natural Painkiller that Grows in your Backyard. November 8, 2017 - by jani123-admin - Leave a CommentPeople have used wild lettuce as a sedative and painkiller for millennia. This plant is similar to thistle and dandelion, but it has potent properties which can replace synthetic painkillers. Namely, it has been used as an opium replacement since the 19th century, when it was known as “poor man’s opium. Even nowadays, the distilled water from this plant is used as a…See More

Kali's agents expertly introduced karma, jnana, and anyabhilasa in the Vaisnava sampradaya

"After the time of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, those faithful to Him kept apart from nondevotees, to avoid contamination. Seeing this, the personality of Kali sent his representatives in disguise to pollute the Vaisnava sampradaya. Posing as Vaisnavas, they spread their wicked doctrines, and appeared so intelligent and devoted that only pure devotees could detect their real identity. Most devotees -- not only the most neophyte – were enchanted by their tricks. In this way Kali's agents expertly…See More
