KC American Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of THE BIGGEST holidays in America. Unlike Christmas, the traditional centerpiece of the Thanksgiving meal is turkey. I do mashed potatoes and a veggie gravy, spicy green beans, rice pilaf, and pumpkin or pecan pie with whipped cream. Oh and rolls. can't forget the rolls! I've been experimenting with "garlic" rolls, substituting…

This is the challenging time. I am barely doing my rounds, having trouble sleeping, and just feeling very horrible. It is temporary. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, and once the sun shines, i feel better. I am barely making it through work. I make plans, but don't follow through because it just takes too much energy. I dream of Summer, the bright heat, tropical jungles, anything warm and sunny.... I wonder how Krishna would deal with the darkness and cold. It's hard to cook, and I LOVE… Continue

Diwali

The story goes that Hanuman was sent by Rama to Ayodhya the day before Rama's arrival as prearranged with Bharat to let the residents of Ayodhya know how Sita and Rama and all Their retinue were returning. This was five days before Diwali, and after the Vijaya dasami (victory of Rama ) celebration. THE STORY BEHIND "DIWALI" King Dashrath ruled the rich and prosperous city of Ayodhya. He had three wives and…See More

Looks to me like an organized well-thought out program to destroy Vedic culture.

Tamohara Dasa added; Hindus, so-called, fighting with each other over obscure and irrelevant religious issues instead of taking the yuga dharma under Mahaprabhu, Westernized biased anti-Hindu untrue history is taught to our children in the brainwash educational systems, IMF electronic currency scam / doing away with the freedom of use of money in favor of demon control is started in India, alliances made with the devil ie Israel, Moslems are encouraged to breed and take over, Hare Krsna…See More
