Beans, Bullets, and Bhagavad-gitas
2016 was a rough year for me personally, as I watched my aunt die of cancer through the first four months. Then ending with a terrorist attack on my son's college, and myself and my dog being attacked by another dog at the park(which was not that big a deal, but scary at the time.all involved are fine).
Sitewise, we have garnered new members, and are blessed with our on-going classes and participation in them.
A few good highlights: I saw the ocean in Charleston SC, saw Sue the biggest Tyrannosaurus Rex ever found, and had a wonderful time at Great Wolf Lodge with my family, as my oldest flew in from Seattle for 10 days.
Spiritually, I was in a holding pattern. My aunt's death upset me, but my faith is in The Holy Name. My son surviving the terrorist attack only proves to me that that faith is justified. God is blue, plays a flute, and herds cows.
