Bhakti Charu the Current Acharya?

Jun 04, 2013 — NEW YORK (SUN) — Apparently some of the Bengali disciples in Brooklyn, New York have proclaimed Bhakti Charu Swami as the Present Acharya of ISKCON. Although this flyer was being passed out at the Brooklyn Temple last year, I though it is still relevant that the temple management did not seem to have a problem with the flyer being passed out.

As a flyer was handed to a friend of mine, he asked the devotee: 'So Bhakti Charu is the Acharya?' The Bengali devotee said, 'Are you coming to the program? No? So don't worry about it .'

As we all know, the term 'acharya' implies that he is the spiritual master of the whole organization. The one who teaches all others by his own example.


You please be well, and despite the insanity of these present days, may we be safely situated under the shelter of Srila Prabhupada's Lotus Feet, Those of our Guru Varga, the Vaisnavas, and Sri Sri Radha and Krsna.

    Of course there's a rational explanation "for a swami framing his private area with the yoni mudra". He's saying "Come on." (Radhanath has had his various "accidents" throughout the years.) Let's hope he's celebate now.
     
    And in regards to Mayapur, there's a heck of a lot of "stuff" (black tantra) going on with the GBC at those yearly Mayapur meetings. They don't just sit in their cozy meeting rooms, talking about ISKCON stuff, and making their GBC resolutions.
