Pamho. Ever since the poisonning and cover-up, a cabal of cultists have assumed control like big demons, a role never intended for the GBCs at all. My vote is to disband the whole lot of them asap, reassume the money they have sequestered back for the real ISKCON, and ask these persons to leave Srila Prabhupada's temples, or assume roles as floor sweepers until deemed by the least so-called of us, humbled enough to serve the devotees properly.

Dear devotees, ISKCON temple leaders of North America, and ISKCON GBC members world-wide,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, the topmost pure devotee of Krishna, who both are our life and soul.

It is with both respect and sadness, that I try and address you today. I have been a member of ISKCON since 1971, and have dedicated my life since then in the service of Srila Prabhupada and his institution ISKCON. While I have made some mistakes in my spiritual life, as have many non-continuing and continuing members of ISKCON, I have never given up the mission of my spiritual master, starting three successful and important temples in the state of Arizona, since 1986. These were all to be named ISKCON temples, with the exception of the most recent and potentially the biggest in Sedona. This Sedona temple is not having the name of ISKCON due to my disappointment and alarm in seeing some members of the North American GBC using deception and corruption and unauthorized actions as GBC members since 2006, specifically in regards to the Phoenix temple, which I started.

It is this present corruption of their local GBC policy in regards to the Phoenix temple, that has made me loose any trust in both their authority, ability, and representation of the elite and pure leadership of Srila Prabhupada's GBC. It is also in the inability and/or refusal of the international GBC Executive Committee to properly supervise, command and demand proper behavior of its members and mete out correction when necessary as in this case of the NA GBC EC and the Phoenix temple, that I and many other members of ISKCON, have lost faith in their intentions and abilities to carry out their GBC duties properly as the "watchdogs" of the ISKCON Movement. As long as the GBC EC does not act to maintain and protect the purity of management in the GBC, members and the congregation of ISKCON will be more and more deterred from having faith in ISKCON, due to such present and condoned politics allowed in the GBC. There is no excuse for this neglect, and there is no tolerance for duplicity and politics, what to speak of corruption, in GBC management. GBC members should either do the job correctly as per Srila Prabhupada's directions, or honorably resign to some other type of devotional service one may be more qualified and suited for.

The sadness I reveal to you today, is in seeing the extent of neglect and unwillingness of the "ultimate" leaders of Srila Prabhuapada in North America, members of the NA GBC EC (Romapada Swami, Nityananda das, Badrinarayan Swami, and their agents GBC-Hari Vilas das, Kuladri and their attorney Gupta prabhus) in properly representing Srila Prabhupada while also levying political attacks against some members of ISKCON whom they cannot successfully control. I am specifically referring to:

1) The unethical and illegal way the NA GBC EC took over the Phoenix ISKCON temple back in 2007, stealing it away from the properly installed GBC and temple board of directors. Proof of their total disregards to GBC protocol and ethics, as well as illegal manipulation of temple documents and improper submission of new "fudged" documents to the State of Arizona, have been included in past issues of the Watchdog Bulletin and can be viewed again at http://watchdogbulletin.org.

It is an embarrassing precedent, on the name of Srila Prabhupada and the GBC, that devotees who should be representing him in both a proper and legal way, have decided to rule by corruption and means of deception, misrepresentation of facts, and total disregard of the rules by which GBC members have given oath to follow. In the case of the Phoenix temple, disregards to even State law and the consequences thereof, are alleged to have been condoned and/or performed by members of the NA GBC EC and their TP of Phoenix representative Prema Dhatri dd (Pratibha Somaiya).

It is also deplorable in the way they have treated some congregational members of the Phoenix temple (21 in number), who have not agreed with their methods of corruption, and who after having brought it to the attention of the NA GBC and/or their agent improperly imposed as the Phoenix temple president, Prema Dhatri devi dasi aka/ Pratibha Somaiya (see http://www.watchdogbulletin.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Watchdog-Bulletin-JANUARY-2015.pdf, pages 2, 8, 9, &10), have been ostracized, banned, and one devotee in particular, legally restricted by Mrs. Somaiya who called the police more than once, when the accused devotee desired to have a peaceful darshan of the Lord in the temple, to forcibly remove him from the temple property. In this regards Srila Prabhupada himself wrote to Mukunda in 1973, that this calling police against a devotee "is never to be done." Yet, this action of the Phoenix TP has been approved by the NA GBC. WHY do they make these politics? WHY do they have their own mafia type rules by which they try and govern? This all points to one strong fact, that they should not be in their positions of service as GBC members as they do not have the proper spiritual qualifications as per Srila Prabhupada's recommendations and rules.

Proof is there that Prema Dhatri dd allegedly broke State law, in depositing untrue and unauthorized State documents. Proof is there that the GBC, from the NA GBC EC all the way up to the Executive Committee of the GBC in Mayapur, have publicly lauded and approved her actions executed by her as the temple president, as well as her actions to publicly humiliate and ban law abiding citizens and Indian congregational members from visiting the temple.
These above named members of the NA GBC EC and their agents, have proven their inability in fulfilling the expected rules and ethics by which a GBC member and their agents should behave, and therefore they should all be removed from having any responsibility of authority in ISKCON management, especially as a GBC.

Their total disregard to the precepts of honesty and integrity as well as their  misrepresentation of a GBC member, have also been demonstrated by their recent misrepresenting facts and promoting cover-ups, regarding an audit initiated by them on the financial accounts of both the ISKCON Phoenix temple and personal financial accounts of the temple president, Prema Dhatri dd. This can be verified by the devotee given the task of the investigation, Hamsarupa prabhu, and Jaga Jivan prabhu, who is the GBC appointed head of IDRO: ISKCON Dispute Resolution Office. While the NA GBC EC sent emails declaring the result of the audit was showing a totally clean record and no evidence of mismanaged accounts, the actual audit was actually interrupted and discontinued by members of the NA GBC, although stating the opposite to the GBC and others.

Thus, in particular, GBC members Nityananda das (Head chairman for the NA GBC EC) and Badrinarayan das (now Swami), issued public statements misrepresenting evidence and submitting untrue and false information to the GBC body, to the congregation, and other ISKCON devotees regarding the results of the audit. Their false statements are on record and again show that these persons cannot be trusted in regards to honesty and integrity, nor should they be allowed to continue their service as members of the Governing Body Commission (GBC) of ISKCON, as stated in GBC and ISKCON law itself:

Culpable Falsehood Before The GBC

A person who commits perjury (intentional falsehood) while asserting something or testifying something before the GBC or a body representing the GBC is to be

corrected with a suitable remedy.

2) In addition to the above example of politics in GBC management, members of the NA GBC have successfully "centralized" almost all the temples of North America, which was against Srila Prabhupada's express desires. Other members of the GBC and their agents, such as Anuttama das (the present GBC chairman) and Gopal Bhatta prabhu, are also in agreement to "centralize" the temples of ISKCON worldwide, and appearing to be on a crusade to do so have carried their reasoning and efforts throughout other parts of the world. As it should be reiterated that this centralization of temples was AGAINST Srila Prabhupada and his express desires, one may ask, who are these gentlemen really working for, and why are they disobeying Srila Prabhupada's direct orders in this regards? Srila Prabhupada's statements to this effect are no secret, and are exhibited in the following personal letter:

Srila Prabhupada, Letter to Karandhara, Bombay, December 22, 1972: [...] "Regarding your points about taxation, corporate status, etc., I have heard from Jayatirtha you want to make big plan for centralization of management, taxes, monies, corporate status, bookkeeping, credit, like that. I do not at all approve of such plan. Do not centralize anything. Each temple must remain independent and self-sufficient.
That was my plan from the very beginning, why you are thinking otherwise? Once before you wanted to do something centralizing with your GBC meeting, and if I did not interfere the whole thing would have been killed. Do not think in this way of big corporation, big credits, centralization–these are all nonsense proposals.
Only thing I wanted was that books printing and distribution should be centralized, therefore I appointed you and Bali Mardan to do it. Otherwise, management, everything, should be done locally by local men. Accounts must be kept, things must be in order and lawfully done, but that should be each temple’s concern, not yours.
Krishna Consciousness Movement is for training men to be independently thoughtful and competent in all types of departments of knowledge and action, not for making bureaucracy.
Once there is bureaucracy the whole thing will be spoiled."

3) The NA GBC EC have continued a personal attack against myself, without sufficient proof of recent wrong-doing, and they have banned me from even entering any ISKCON temple in North America. Without first questioning myself regarding some accusation, they have found me guilty in their "kangaroo court" and have wrongly contacted all the TPs in North America, stating that I indeed performed serious and unacceptable actions, stating so without any proof or waiting to hear my response to their accusation. Does that sound like proper representation of the honest post that is required of a GBC member? Does any of this sound like the proper and bone fide presentation of honesty and responsibility required of any member of the GBC?

They expect me to follow their new illegitimate ban for three years, based on their false and unproven charges against me. They expect me to believe in their authority as qualified, responsible, and authorized GBC representatives. However their actions in regards to the Phoenix ISKCON temple shows them to be otherwise, and, I never signed up, in Prabhupada's and Lord Caitanya's Movement, to be subservient or submissive to persons who use corruption as their theme in dealing with devotees, temples congregations, and the tool of hypocrisy that it demands. Nor have any of you signed up to align yourself, with any such kali-yuga qualities of leadership! We are all followers of Srila Prabhupada, and followers of those who actually follow him.

 

So I ask you, respectable leaders of ISKCON, who are these men, and why should they be acting members of the GBC anywhere, what to speak of in this country where ISKCON growth is the least in the world? Are you, as temple leaders and representatives of Srila Prabhupada, going to acknowledge, condone and permit such unfounded and questionable behavior in GBC management? Or are you going to demand, as a temple presidents body, that we (I also represent a temple) are long overdue, a supervisory body composed of temple presidents, who will oversee any complaints of GBC management, a supervisory committee of TPs that are not "under the thumb" of the GBC, but are there to help insure that the GBC itself remains loyal, responsible, and answerable to any mismanagement and neglect of proper GBC duty? Does this sound fair?

We have to face it, corruption in the GBC would probably be the worst weapon used by maya and by those propelled by politics and self-interest, that can and will destroy ISKCON from inside out. If some of them are having difficulty in being proper representatives of ISKCON and if the GBC are having problems policing themselves properly, then you as TPs are also responsible, to Srila Prabhupada, for helping them do their service more properly in some regards. You are directly responsible to the effects that this neglect of proper GBC duty can have on your temple and future temple congregations. There should be NO unaccountable GBC with centralized control of ISKCON temples and assets. That is not Srila Prabhupada's mandate and never will become the mandate of ISKCON. It is some foreign element of maya that has unfortunately seeped into the GBC and downloaded from there, and it is already reaping many disturbances in our ISKCON Society, as the innocent and banned devotees in Phoenix can attest to. Although the GBC are doing many positive and good things, this uncontroled and allowable element of some corruption in GBC management, can undermine the faith in the GBC. There are about 50 GBC members, and perhaps 500 or more temple presidents around the world. So we can see from those numbers, that greater responsibility lies within the greater number of leaders in ISKCON, with the ISKCON temple presidents.

This would be my humble suggestion, and I encourage that you, as temple leaders, should take up these points at the upcoming TP / GBC meeting in Dallas, and going on from there to the Mayapur GBC and TP meetings.

I wish you well in your services. There is no one more wonderful, than that divine personality that leads us - His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. There is nothing more wonderful than being a member of the institution of ISKCON, if it in all ways, proceeds as Srila Prabhupada directed, with real and accountable integrity, love and trust. That is all of our responsibility, to help insure that that is and stays so. Please be strong, as Srila Prabhupada wants his temple leaders to be, and help bring ISKCON back to its proper course of action - "Purity is the force."
