Feb 26, 2012 — MOSCOW, RUSSIA (SUN) — I have to reply, after reading Syamakunda das's angry reply to the YouTube video, 'Friction Against the Machine', posted by the Sun. Sure, it was shocking, harsh material, but real truth (the truth will set you free).

America was founded by misguided people, sin… illusions. It is still that way. This video shows it. Syamakunda's anger shows he is CLEARLY not understanding the purpose of posting the video, for us to be informed on reality - current events. The Sun never ever suggested the video had the real answer, but it does clearly, bluntly show the real problems in America.

America is going to hell, Syamakunda das prabhu, are you blind? Have you have made a truce with Maya? Apparently you support mundane politics and support the rascals and blind fools who are destroying America very quickly. Do you understand what Srila Prabhupada taught in Bhagavad-gita? Its baffling, your remarks… puzzling. My sources say you help karmi politicians. It seems you may have also voted for these bozo fools, Bush and Obama? Who is your new guru - $$$ MONEY? Dick Cheney, George W. Bush… Obama... all lunatic fools, rascals liars and cheaters. The blind masses fall for it. WHY do you? You are supposed to be a devotee and you speak to support these rascals' false dreams! A paradise for fools.

It seems many so-called materially successful American devotees are content with Maya these days. Truce time with Maya with Krsna consciousness. Now we can have it all? Illusions and KRSNA? Is that what Srila Prabhupada taught us? Real success is getting out of the cycle of birth and death, not a big house, job and the American Dream. Seems you want BOTH, and so does our new, compromised ISKCON and some of its members. You want the best of both worlds now… Don't you? Still chasing the American Dream! Maya! That's why the Indians left India and came to America.

Syamakunda das should go join the compromised GBC Body. He is perfect for the job. The fact is that the American Dream is quickly becoming a real nightmare for America, and the whole world. Why can't he see the obvious'? Even non-devotees see it, like (ex)-filmmaker, Michael Moore, etc. I give him more credit then you. Maybe you are scared of the truth? All you have, all you value, it can all go up in a puff of smoke. Yet you're content to give credit to the Illusionary Energy?

As you disagree with the video and the Sun, calling it BS, as far as I'm concerned, you are disagreeing with our Guru, HDG Srila Prabhupada in a very real and dangerous way. Twisting things and seeing things as you are, clouded by your success.

Syamakunda das, you get into explaining the real story about how exploitative 'useless Capitalism' was great for your family and worked, but you didn't say at whose cost! At the cost of many lives… Indians, Black people. Now most jobs are overseas. In China, where workers rights are low and so is the pay and their living standards, they give you your cheap toys and computers, TVs, iPhones, etc, at the cost of others suffering. Can't you see it? This is all a sin. The American Government sold out to corporations long ago… the dream is over. We enjoy so that others may suffer! That is material life, that is America.

China has replaced the American worker, CEO greed and bank fraud has ruined countless lives. You support the corrupted system and you are PROUD of it. Insanity, pure and simple. You are covered over by Maya. Why do you glorify them and not Srila Prabhupada, who saved you from the cycle of repeated birth and death (not them)? Not The USA Government, politicians, Capitalism, etc. It's all based on greed, not God. We use their products, but many of these people are real demons and so is their maya, America… a bogus non-Vedic culture, going down, down to hell.

We understand from your article you are angry at this video, but why? It's the TRUTH, it's Kali Yuga. We fully understand your family got saved and flourished at one time... so what! That's Material Life. What you miss is Srila Prabhupada's blunt Truths, Reality, His point of view on Capitalism and Democracy. Srila Prabhupada constantly exposed these rascals. You don't go there at all! Strange. Srila Prabhupada NEVER wanted us to trust the Demonic political systems, and Prabhupada's words are strong, direct and harsh about America. Srila Prabhupada called Democracy Demon Crazy=a Demon-acracy.

As Syamakunda enjoys the benefit of temporary money/success karma and sits in his cozy office, working and listening to Krsna conscious CD's and Prabhupada lectures, he fails completely to realize many Americans as well as godbrothers and sisters and other prabhus are not getting good money karma in an out of control, corrupt, bankrupt financial system, all run by demons. These results are seen everywhere in America. Cities, states falling apart, Police States, millions of homeless Americans, bank fraud and Wall Street frauds (gambling), millions jobless and more going unemployed. Are you blind? Heartless? A selfish Yuppie? Makes me wonder… Do you understand Srila Prabhupada's books, his words? Such is the power of Maya/Illusion ....

In my own family, my grandfather and father and me got the 1950's and 60's benefits of post-WWII economic growth, good jobs and a home and security. Now that is all going away in the USA. It's temporary so-called success. Even in the 60's, I saw my family, even after so much middle class success, not happy. Not happy at all. The corruption almost destroyed my father, who worked in the Mafia run insurance companies and banks. It drove him to drink. Yes, corruptions is deep in the US of A. So is Illusion.

Living in the Material world is suffering. By Krsna and Srila Prabhupada's causeless mercy, I met Prabhupada's disciples, who preached to me (told me the TRUTH), and later I had the good fortune to associate with Srila Prabhupada and become his disciple. As a godbrother, Syamakunda das prabhu, you bewilder me. And sadly, you are not the only one sold out to the Illusion. The Temporary.

In the 60's and 70's and even early 80's, no Prabhupada disciple would dare preach and glorify karmi life, material life, and so-called success. My conclusion is, it's your Illusion, my dear Godbrother. Nice Middle Class Life (or more), money in the bank, trusting the corrupt Governments and banks. All taken away at the time of death, or sooner...you will see it in your lifetime. You are scared… that's what I read in your angry article... You know deep down the TRUTH. Why don't you give the so-called American Success of you and your family to GOD, Lord Sri KRSNA, to our spiritual Master HDG Srila Prabhupada? You are mixed up.

I guess you support Monsanto's GMO foods, too. In the USA, the god is Money, it's all for a buck. Forget about God and His laws. The politicians and Mainstream Media are mere prostitutes for corporation money. No Free speech soon. Just See, George Bush or Obama and the loony politicians who have sold out for a corporate buck. You support such demons...admit it. At least be honest. But they don't care about you at all! That's your illusion.

Your politicians, banks, nice home and office will NOT save you at the time of death. Informed sources tell me, Syamakunda das, that you voted for Republicans, but Republican… Democrat, they are all in illusion, chasing after the illusions, not addressing issues that are serious. They are cozy with the American Dream illusions, not seeing the real problems of life -- a total lack of pure God consciousness in Christian meat eaters, intoxication, gambling … this is normal life for the karmis you support. You will get reactions for supporting them, sooner or later.

You are running after the Illusion and are promoting it, but Death lurks around our corner, for you and our families. Can the American Dream /Washington D.C. help them from the cycle of repeated birth and death? Only HDG Srila Prabhupada and Lord KRSNA can save us. Our Krsna consciousness, that is what's worthwhile in life. Everything else is temporary illusion… Democrats/Republicans… don't you get it?

Syamakunda das, all this is showing in the sad USA of today. Failed success and Yuppie vision is part of present day ISKCON's dysfunctional problems, too.

Defense of 'Friction to Stop the Machine' Video

In his article, "How the Free Enterprise Market has Worked", Syamakunda Prabhu's music is that, "my parents came to America and prospered, I have prospered, computers and Internet have come into existence, I can hear Krishna Conscious kirtans and lectures on my computer, I can write 50 page documents for evil banks, and even Srila Prabhupada came to America to preach instead of going anywhere else". So system must be good. That is a big jump – big extrapolation. The video gives countless examples of how millions of people have been miserable victims of the system that he glorifies.

Syamakunda das writes:

"Srila Prabhupada came to this free market system with all its flaws and was able to preach almost unrestricted. The Supreme Lord and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaj did not send him to Russia, China, Iran, Iraq, Cambodia, etc. at first. He came to where the free market system was the least polluted. He then gathered some of the best of the United States' youth to the sankirtan party of Lord Chaitanya. These children of the free market system have now preached Krsna Consciousness around the world and continue to do so."

"This video was the epitome of sensationalistic propaganda with no solution except anarchy. I even noticed that religion was touted as being part of the problem. And yet, devotees think that such a rubbish video is a productive piece of propaganda that they posted it to the devotee community."

So the American System of Capitalism and Democracy (ASCD) must be good, and the video Let Your Life be a Friction to Stop the Machine is rubbish because it offers no solution and must be dismissed as false propaganda to spread anarchy.

Below are my points:

Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaj sent his disciples to London, but they did not succeed, and gave orders to HDG Srila Prabhupada in 1922 and 1936 to write books in English and preach in Western Countries. Srila Prabhupada always thought of going to London, but after the World War II, America became the dominant country in the Western world. He thought that if citizens of the leading country of the world take up his message, then by example (yad yad acarati sresthah) people of other countries will follow. Therefore, as ordered by his Guru, Srila Prabhupada wrote a few books in English and came to America.

Srila Prabhupada compared Indians as lame and Americans and Europeans as blind, and opened the eyes of his Western disciples and they in turn did serve him well. At the same time, let us not forget what destruction some of them have caused during the last 35 years.

Syamakunda's point is that video does not offer a solution and spreads anarchy, and thus must be rejected and condemned. I say his conclusions are totally wrong. First, one must know what the problems are, then one can think of solutions. Towards that end, the Video goes into great length in itemizing problems created by the system and the anarchy practiced by the Military Industrial Complex.

Towards the end, the video shows scenes of protests going on in Egypt, Syria, Greece, America, etc. against corrupt and cruel systems, and the video supports such protests, which Syamakunda thinks serve no purpose but to spread anarchy. Srila Prabhupada says, 'a man is being killed in the street and no one protests'. That means those protesters are brave souls who are willing to risk their lives to expose the corrupt and cruel system and demand change.

Furthermore, America itself supports such protests in many of the above countries (such as Egypt, Syria, Libya) when it thinks it is in its own interests, and gives cold shoulder to similar protests in other countries (such as Bahrain and Yemen), or at home in America. There is duplicity. So Syamakunda, is America spreading anarchy?

To Syamakunda, rampant anarchy of the state is acceptable, and those who question and protest against it are anarchists. If we go by Syamakunda's logic, Gandhi was an anarchist for protesting against apartheid in South Africa; Martin Luther King was an anarchist who was asking for equal rights; American women were anarchists for asking for the right to vote; union leaders are anarchists for asking their share.

Now let us look at some facts that the video gives: tens of millions of people were victims of slaughter (native Indians, slavery, apartheid), victims of Cold War (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos), victims of current wars (Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan) – millions of dead, injured, and impoverished.

Talk about America's 300 year "Gun Boat Diplomacy" in Latin America. Talk about European Colonial Powers and their rape of other countries, their peoples, and culture. I read a book about colonialism in Africa, where local people faced three enemies every day – three stooges: clergy, businessman, and army man. They backed up each other.

Have you heard of FORCED CONVERSION? It is still happening today – mostly done by Bible and Quran-totting Christians and Muslims, while they do not follow their own books. And the horrors they have committed over the centuries.

The video also talks about America supporting Kings, Sheikhs, and Generals and bribing leaders while people go hungry. Demoniac philosophy of SENSE GRATIFICATION has become a widespread disease, devouring any and all. Where is religion when meat eating, intoxication, illicit sex, and gambling are so widespread?

I recently saw a documentary on apartheid in America from 1860 to 1940, which showed in southern states hundreds of thousand were falsely charged of committing crimes and forced to work for their accusers, and millions faced subhuman treatment.

In January 1968, I came to America and attended the University of Houston. Blacks were protesting to get admission. The apartment complex I lived in would not rent to blacks.

I saw another documentary about Camp Lejune in North Carolina, where underground water was being polluted by chemical leaks and dumping from 1957 to 1980. In the 90's, people started having cancer and complained to military leaders, who did nothing. It took 15 years for people to force the leaders that were hiding the truth.

Talk about 2008 economic explosion, recession, billions given to banks, so many countries in trouble (Greece, Italy, Spain (20%+ unemployment)). Think through the eyes of the victims.

I hope Syamakunda will hear this video again and change his mind. The video has too many facts to ignore.

There are 100s of wars (small and large) going on at present in the world, to gain control of resources for SENSE GRATIFICATION. Americans are the largest consumers of resources. That need will drive them to do anything, and they are doing anything and everything to get them. The video is putting before our eyes these ugly, dirty, and cruel facts.

This video is not rubbish, as Syamakunda calls it, just because it may not have a final solution. The video says your system has created countless problems, and it is true. What solution is provided by your glorious system, except more of the same?

Today, about 150 million Americans receive some form of payment from the government – Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc. So how stable is this system and how long will it last?

Srila Prabhupada came to America to destroy this Demoniac System of SENSE GRATIFICATION, not to support it in any way or praise it. Gandhi said that the European System was for the benefit of the few, and so did Srila Prabhupada.
