As someone involved with Speech Pathology, I would like to introduce you to the New TalkForMe App Version 2.2 which is available in the App Store.
TalkForMe has been specifically designed for those with speech and communications difficulties. Influenced by Speech Pathologists & Speech Therapists, TalkForMe is a multipurpose communication tool that allows people to communicate their needs using images they take with their iPod, iPhone or iPad.

We have developed the App over the past 3 years and as a result of input from End Users and Healthcare Professionals, we have released the latest version – TalkForMe 2.2.
We are confident that this is the best App available for people with Speech & Communications difficulties.
The TalkForMe App has been designed for the iPhone, iPod or iPad – the TalkForMe App gives those with a range of speech impaired disabilities a tool to get their voices heard. (Android Version in Development)
The App Founder - Mr Hugh McEvoy
Hugh’s son Karl McEvoy who has a rare neurological movement disorder known as Dystonia has been given the gift of speech thanks to the new revolutionary Smart device App developed by his father. Karl, now 24 years old, developed Dystonia at 4 years of age leaving him unable to communicate verbally with many people apart from his family. The new TalkForMe App for gives those with a range of speech impaired disabilities a tool to get their voices heard. ‘TalkForMe’ is a multipurpose communication tool that allows people communicate their needs using images that they take with their Smart device and associating them with typed text which can be spoken and translated in over 20 languages.
