Proteins, like building blocks, combinedly create structures. One wants complete sets. Similarly, eating requires balanced protein sets for vegetarian success. Any three vegetarian protein sources eaten, more-or-less together, create these complete sets, and you will feel satisified, not hungry. Examples; 1 milk on cereal made of two or more grains. 2 Dahl soup with rice and bread. 3 yogurt, nuts, and toast., 4 pizza, 5. three kinds of nuts. Turns out in nature any three veggie proteins together will balance in good degrees. You get the picture. If you eat only one or two proteins at a time, you will feel hungry again shortly, and tend to over-eat sweets etc. Note; Vegetarians tend to like sweets; it is a part of increasing the guna called sattva, ie goodness, and sweetness is part of that mood. - Thomas Garden, CHFS, MS.
