Sri Krishna is known as Govinda and Godvija, protector of the cows, and protector of the Brahmanas.
All necessary foodstuffs come from cows and all necessary knowledge comes from Brahmanas.

All the demigods live within the body of the cow.
Krishna knows each cow by name and can recognize her by her MOOO

Here is a video how the energy from cow dung can be used to fuel the fire in cooking using some plumbing  techniques. Cows are terrific
And so is Krishna

  • Hare Krsna Prabhus,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada. PAMFO I hope your sadhana and bhajan are going well.

Krsna, Who is known as Govinda, is He Who gives pleasure to the "go"s - the cows (go), gopis, gopas and senses (also known as go).

After Lord Indra sent torrents of rain to punish the inhabitants of Vrndavan for neglecting to do the puja to him that they were offering every year, and instead offered the worship to Giriraj Govardhan, Indradev realized his offense when Krsna lifted Govardhan to protect the Vrajavasis, Lord Indra's understanding from this, that Krsna was the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

In his desire to be excused from the offense, and knowing how dear the cows were to Krsna, Indra took shelter of Mother Surabhi, asking her to accept him as her son, and to accompany him in his going to beg Krsna for forgiveness, by going in front of Indra when he went to Krsna. When Surabhi Mata went before Krsna, Krsna was so pleased to see her, and addressed her as "Mother". She then told Krsna, "I've brought my son," and asked Krsna to forgive Indra for his offenses. The devatas being present with Indra, Surabhi Mata lavished her milk, which was used by them to bathe Krsna. Krsna then told Indra to go to Navadvipa with Mother Surabhi, and to undergo penance there for his purification

I hope all is going well.

May we be safely situated under the shelter of Srila Prabhupada's Lotus Feet, Those of our Guru Varga, the Vaisnavas, and Sri Sri Radha and Krsna.

    With love,

    Your servant,

    B. Radha-Govinda
    Hare Krsna
