  • "The  fallen jiva is like a disloyal friend, or an unchaste wife. She ran from those who love her. For Bhagavan, all times are present in full all at once. "Never was there a Time when I did not exist..." So we, in my current fallen state, am simultaneously present in my pure status in Goloka in the eyes of the Lord, so no, one cannot fall from Vaikuntha in that manner of understanding... but our current status as sinner is shameful. Now eternally before the Lord our capacity as sinners is eternally known. Shameful status.

Jivera svarupa haya nitya krsnadasa. If we are here, then that means we have taken our leave of absence. Krsna does not force love, so He allows, especially seeing as it is all quite will-o-the-wisp ephemeral to the eternal soul. Some of course abuse others and thus become very deeply entangled. This is not our natural state, it is an embarassment for the King to be seen wandering the streets naked and drunk.

Lord Krsna is the Timelord. All phases of time, past present future, so dominant in a linear karma-time stream, is but a fleeting illusion of the souls to Godhead, real but not really so serious in that "Never was there a time when i did not exist, nor you.." Thus, our sleep in maya is relative, and although experienced, the souls never leave Krsna. In eternal time, all time phases exist in full, here and now, eternally. The Self is part of that.

The question of does the soul fall from Vaikuntha is thus both yes, and never.

Nonetheless, the Self has debased itself, displayed the independence in a haughty or over-brave manner, skating on thin ice out of a mood, learning suffering, but showing also the bad possibilities and sometimes becoming a horrid monster. This is an eternal occurrance, it happened, but like a bad dream, in light of eternity, it is nothing. .But until we reattain our nonenvious mentality, then it is a dire situation and a grave embarrassment to the Self to have gone naked and drunk down the streets."
