  Letter to Madhukara

  "I think you will have no difficulty, as long as our routine work is attended to nicely and the highest standards are maintained. Routine work means rising early, cleansing, chanting minimum 16 rounds, having kirtana, reading scriptures, deity worship, like that.
  
  Simply always keep yourselves engaged in these matters of regular activity as sincerely as possible, and do not neglect them for a moment, then your all other activities will come out successful, and you can be very certain that very soon you will find yourselves situated on the highest platform of perfectional stage."

  Thinking themselves supremely situated, fully in control, the usurpers grew careless, while the servants of Srila Prabhupada, with less rupees in their pockets than when Srila Prabhupada landed in Boston, regrouped and set out to rebuild. Circling and coming round the back of the cultists, the devotees glorified HDG Srila Prabhupada and Lord Sri Krishna everywhere. As a result of this sincere sacrifice, other spirit souls became attracted, and when they became lit fires also, they in turn informed others, and in this way, it spread like a wildfire of nectar, like the best progressive deal, like the highest cleanest ---, the knarliest heavy truths, the safest purest love.

   

  Slowly at first, but gaining momentum, like a snowball down a pristine white Canadian mountainside in winter, the regrouped original devotees built up the number of the members, simply by following Sri Caitanya's/Srila Prabhupada's programs, and chanting Hare Krishna Hare Krishna !,  Sankirtana first, japa second, temple worship etc. third, presenting it as it is always, and showing patient loving encourgement to newcomers in difficult and sometimes distant times.  An ability to roll with the forces, "O Soto Geri * ", learned in early years on sankirtana, helped immensely.

   

  ( * Japanese Judo term for "rolling back throw of opponent", using their own weight against them by tipping thier center of balance and tugging them forward , using the foot whilst you fall back upon your back, as a lever to toss them up and over your now flat on ground self, rolling onto the ground with foot in their stomach, and soon they are flying face first to the ground. Classic and easy throw in Judo. By us remaining pure,  while they are off-balance, in-attentive demonic  persons, soon they are easily thrown down, due to  thier own off-balance weight of sin.  )

  This is where most of the  energy that brought you this movement and this site came from; via we the revolutionaries of America and Britain, and indeed the whole world eventually, who came together as one generation, one family of light, to embrace change and freedom. I am convinced that Lord Krishna arranged the world social scene just so that his servants, appearing in numbers everywhere across the earth, could be awakened to serve Sri Krishna Caitanya's missions in Srila Prabhupada's divine services. We are still trying to serve, fighting that same good and righteous fight now, decades later.
