  • Yes. This is Jayananda Prabhu. Srila Prabhupada is wearing  winter clothings given him by the disciples. Very nice and rare photo!  Thanks very much!  Haribol!

  • Tamohara dasa, Saudia Arabia, Janaadriiya Fair, 1997, just outside Riyadh. Somone took a picture for me, and on developping it, they have quite curously placed the "window" in the fortress behind me !   Arabia is a very strange land.

  • Yes, Bhaktin Nirmama Prabhu; I also enjoyed it, thanks for sending. Has it been added to our videos list yet ? That would be very nice.

I also listen to the same song over and over for days, sometimes; it is a sthayi-bhava or a steady taste. A little artificial, but we should seek to extend our moods of service.

Raagas in the old days would be played for many hours, but in modern times people cannot stay focussed for such lengths of time.

Bhakti definitely is well mated with blues and other musics, but the mood of seperation is captivating, once one gets a taste of and for that. It is not a cheap thing. A taste for devotional mellows is a rare and powerful Grace. Chant, and listen at the same time is very nice. Dont forget to chant Panca Tattva mantra a lot also please.

    AGTSP !

  • Dandavats all! These are some beautiful mahaprabhu lila paintings from a temple in orissa. I think they were taken by anupama prabhu from mexico. Unfortunately I don't know the artist(s). You can download the whole album in hi rez by pasting this link into your browser: http://thinkpex.com/templinks/Mahaprabhu's%20Lila%20for%20desktop%20adjusted.rar The download should start. It's 375mb total so it will take a little while.
