Hare Krsna again Tamohara prabhu,

 

All glories to His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada. Please accept my fallen obeisances.

I hope the migraine has let up, and I hope things are going at least halfway decently for you. (In these days, it seems if things are going at least halfway decently, then we might be able to consider ourselves to be somewhat fortunate.)

 

I gave you a quick reply before so I want to follow up now:

 

It's certainly understandable why you or any of us would be considering finding love and a home even in these later ages of the body.

 

Love is inherent to the soul, and so is some form of a home, whether it would be as a grhastha and/or vanaprastha having their house or apartment, or a brahmacari or sannyasi residing in an ashram in a temple. (Even the sadhus who resided in the forests had good association and some form of residence, or at least were able to be provided with food and shelter at this and that place. Obviously there were varied sets of circumstance, but we also have to consider that things were different - the atmosphere more pure - in other yugas.)

 

Srila Prabhupada wanted the devotees who had given up so much to serve Him and Krsna through the ISKCON society, to be provided with at least the minimal of basics; food, shelter, clothing, etc. And of course Srila Prabhupada intended for a sense of community (home/love/association) among devotees. If these things had been kept in PROPER place, then more of the devotees would have been able to maintain their continuence of living as brahmacaris and sannyasis (though, sadly, so many of the so-called "sannyasi," took sannyas for the WRONG reasons, and padded themselves in so many materialistic ways, and still do so to a MUCH MORE INTENSE - WORSE - degree).

 

It is because the GBC has caused the break-down of ISKCON to the extent that it has, that so many devotees have been forced into the non-devotee society, and into living such isolated lives. 

 

It's certainly understandable how - between of all the set of circumstances in consideration, including for some devotees like yourself, who gave up their youthful lives, and remained celibate during their youthful years, not getting married, and especially now that the so-called "devotee" world has become the MESS!!! that it is - even at this later point in life, a devotee would give serious consideration to finding a partner with whom to spend the rest of their life together with. I don't see it as being ANY "embarrassment" for a person.

 

Srila Prabhupada specifically directed the GBC to MAKE DEVOTEE COMMUNITIES with the existing devotees at that time. Srila Prabhupada gave THE PERFECT instructions in His KNOWING what we needed to continue on in regards to practicing Krsna consciousness on ALL levels; spiritual, psychological, physical, BUT, the GBC did NOT follow Srila Prabhupada's instructions and INSTEAD, did as they did. And thus, so many devotees, including both you and me, are being made to undergo the suffering that is resultant from their DISobeyal.

 

Sadly there are NO ashrams in ISKCON (at least not now), where any devotee in integrity with Srila Prabhupada can go to live and serve (in whatever capacity) in; thus, such good devotees being forced to live in the non-devotee world.

Somehow, you've been able to stay "single" all these years. If you can continue to do so, then that may be good, but if you are feeling strongly about getting married and feel you "must" get married, the only thing I would "caution" you in, is that before doing so, you make sure as best as is possible (by meeting the mataji and spending time together, trying to understand "know" each other before any marriage commitment is made, to really get a sure feel) that you and she will be able to be good marriage partners with one another.

 

Kali [yuga personified] is so ready to make his attacks to DESTROY relationships, ESPECIALLY those that are so close, such as marital, that if two people are able to feel very sure that they will be good marriage partners, and can somehow be aware of the various attacks Kali can spring upon them as a unit, they they have a lot of the fight against Kali in this specific area won.

You please be well, and I hope that Mother Kay is doing as OK as is possible. Is she still serving Little Gopal?

I hope your sadhana and bhajan are going well.

 

In Kali Yuga so many things are crazy as well as many things being "opposite".

 

Definitely women are imperfect.

 

There might be a few pure devotee men and women on the planet, but practically speaking, the fe/males of today's world are imperfect (and very much so), with the so much contamination that is brought into our society.

 

What is necessary to have a good marriage, especially in these Kali Yuga days is for a good match between properly suited male and female.

 

Although the grhastha ashram is so important for the proper cultivation of human society, it's a fact that the globalist propagandists have put their attacks, and for so many years, such attacks coming even in the "early-on" years within ISKCON, DESPITE what Srila Prabhupada was preaching and trying to cultivate, Srila Prabhupada Himself at first arranging marriages and doing the marriage with accompanying fire ceremonies...

 

BG 1.39 - 42

 

"With the destruction of dynasty, the eternal family tradition is vanquished, and thus the rest of the family becomes involved in irreligious practice. When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Krsna, the women of the family become corrupt, and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vrsni, comes unwanted progeny. When there is increase of unwanted population, a hellish situation is created both for the family and for those who destroy the family tradition. In such corrupt families, there is no offering of oblations of food and water to the ancestors. Due to the evil deeds of the destroyers of family tradition, all kinds of community projects and family welfare activities are devastated. O Krsna, maintainer of the people, I have heard by disciplic succession that those who destroy family traditions dwell always in hell."
