Dawn of our eternal life at Radha Kunda. Days are so pleasant, living waters pour forth to nourish groves of luscious fruits just perfect to make cold drinks for Radha and Krsna and Company! The boating parties are to die for! Smooth kayaking, water and boating games, swimming with Krsna and Balarama, and Radha and sakhis attending Them. Picnics among the pines and the flowers on the banks of sparkling happy clean rivers filled with happy aquatics in full consciousness of Godhead. Always fresh, never stale, perfect forever, with endless unimaginable variety and happinesses of the Pure Land. One can just sit forever, with the cooling breezes and sparkle of waterfall mists, in the fragrant soft waving grasses of that Land. It is so wonderful, built of spiritual gems, that sometimes one simply laughs out loud, sometimes one shivers gently, sometimes one cries the most pleasant ecstatic tears in that beautiful place! There is no more foolish anxiety as there is no need for anything, just the joy of devoted and voluntary service.

  • My philosophy of how to live has become to accept the minimum acceptable level of comfort and activity and to learn to be grateful for that. Wow. Each has their minimal standard.
Every time we enjoy something for ourself, we are not attempting to bring Krsna enjoyment. When i grab an ice cream out of the frig', without offering , how can i sit in my room and the deity is there and eat and He sits and nothing?? That is what it is. We somehow decided to serve ourself instead of Godhead, so every little thing done for false ego self is an offense against our spiritual status.
Regulation is easier than being selfless. but its a compromise, a religion. It is very hard to be selfless while suffering. Various degrees of entanglement, varied fears. And so sadhana becomes the minimum spiritual standard, a standard, but not transcendental yet, though liberated if maintained and in due course one hopefully gets full Grace and beauty.
