Do we destroy the things we love? That seems part of material existence. Our false-ego selfish infatuation with controlling things in order to be safe and enjoy, and then exercising our current karmic ability to do work, results in works done that lead to destruction, being non-eternal in motivation, execution, and the object acted upon by the dream-self person i currently imagine myself to be.
Time wears down, uses up, alters, and ultimately annihilates all relative things and truths within its domain. Engaging things or other persons in activities dependent upon these mundane-time-influenced affairs is thus complicit with their death and destruction.
