Everyone you meet, let us call her "Doreen", is a one-time unique combination of spirirt and matter that you will meet and love and lose and ultimately never see again. The "person", who is composed of psychologies of the evolved human animal occupied by a partial-manifestation of a pure eternal beautiful spiritual being, expresses the qualities of Godhead and the unique jiva imprisoned within heart-breaking matter. He or she will not happen twice here, nor ever again, so relish that unique rarest of flavors of separation and profundity. It is hard to tell though true, your Doreen lasted but a while, dear friend. When that body dies, that person is gone forever, though the original energizing principle, the Original Self, remains, ever increasing, yet simultaneously eternal and unchanged. In that realm, we may meet yet again. One who follows and lives the pure dharma of devotional service becomes awakened even while within this temporary form; that is true liberation from matter.
