Life is eternal, and if we are infinitely powerful once, we are infinitely powerful eternally. Vaishnava Vedic literature/sastra/scripture says; jivera svarupa haya, nitya krsnadasa., ie the soul is created in His image, and is eternal servitor of Godhead, Sri Krsna.
To God, once we are created, then as He lives in Eternity, so we also never cease. matra sparsas tu kaunteya, sitosna sukha duhka da. That means our eternal nature is now covered, the temporary pains and pleasures are not ultimate. We are conditioned for the game, we imagine that the life or death of the play-vehicles we reside in is our real life or death, but the soul never perishes, it but sleeps for a bit, and dreams... it plays a very realistic but temporary game.
Our natural originating Home is with God, and unto Him, at last, we should return. This is the Father and the Father's house to which Lord Jesus belongs, and often referred, Heaven, the Garden of Paradise/ Eden, or as we call it, Goloka Vrndavana. I shall bring some descriptions of that Place another time. It's all Good !
