I have just read the open letter to the GBC by Mahapurusha dasa.
What can one say other than Mahapurusha dasa has got it all wrong.
Mahapurusha obviously cannot see the obvious.
The degraded woman in question is only being allowed to serve the Deities by the mercy of Ravindra Swarupa das.
She is obviously a demon in the guise of a devotee… perhaps even a Ritvik.
In fact...
she should be grateful that she has been chosen by this great soul, HG Ravindra Svarupa prabhu, to receive his special mercy.
Only after many many lifetimes does one receive such a special benediction.
Sometimes one also… if one is really fortunate… receives a kick in the head… but for that one has to be seriously qualified.
Actually…
real mercy means receiving a bullet in the head… now that is really something.
Other blessings handed out by the great mahatmas leading ISKCON include... banning without even the courtesy of a trial.
Of course...
when one sees the error of one's foolish ways and learns how to become deaf, dumb and blind to all that goes on within the ISKCON institution…
one is allowed the privilege of profusely apologising to the ISKCON leadership.
One can practise this great art by finding and kissing a large melon resembling a human posterior.
Oh how I pray for that sacred day…
when will we all receive the mercy of our ISKCON leadership?

Get Your Kicks at ISKCON Philly

Jul 06, 2012 — DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA (SUN) — It appears that ISKCON Guru Dr. Ravindra Swarupa ex-swami needs to get back to studying the Bhagavad Gita As It Is, specifically this verse (3.37):

Shri Bhagavan uvacha
kama esha krodha esha rajo-guna-samudbhavah
mahasano maha-papma viddhy enam iha varinam

The Blessed Lord said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material modes of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring, sinful enemy of this world.

It is no wonder that some might surmise that Dr. R considers ISKCON Philly his personal stomping ground when reading the indignant letter a devotee wrote about this guru’s antics, published in yesterday's Sun. This unfortunate report has been doing more laps around the Internet than the world’s fastest man. ISKCON Philly’s rank and file is calling for blood, but you know what they say about fighting bureauacracy (and ISKCON’s GBC is mired in it).

Viva la revolucion. Indeed, you will agree that is a strongly-worded letter. And this is all the more true considering that the revolution is being led by the so-called guru’s own disciples The letter appeared on the Pamho forum of Prabhupada’s disciples, many of whom—echoing the sentiments of Mahapurush das the author—are calling for retribution. And they should. Touching your foot to another is considered the greatest offense. In India it can be certain suicide to touch your foot to another person unless the act is followed by a profuse apology. Chanakya Pandit says,

"Let not your foot touch fire, the guru or a brahmana.
It should never touch a cow, a virgin, an elder member or a child."

And even more so, the foot should not touch a chaste woman who is preparing for worshipping of the Deity. Srila Prabhupada often said that "Krishna means Krishna and His associates.” The pujari in the process of worshipping the Lord should be considered as part of the Lord’s entourage and to offend the pujari is a direct offence to Krishna. This is well known.

What will the GBC do? Well, what can they do? The problem with them is that they are embedded in the same sort of zonal kingdom mentality that has led Rabindra Swarupa to such tyrannical behavior. When Srila Prabhupada was present and guiding the Society, he would have recognized the stress of one of the leaders caused by his identifying with his "personal domain” and he would have shipped him off to Timbuktu (or Karachi or Shanghai). Seriously, His Divine Grace did that frequently in order to quell the bird’s nest mentality the present GBC is famous for. But can you imagine that happening today? How could the GBC, for example, tell Rabindra Swarup to switch places with some GBC who is so embedded in his domain that the center is not even officially a part of ISKCON any longer? Could Rabindra Swarup be sent to Seattle to run an essential oil company and a Hindu congregation?

Srila Prabhupada’s brilliant and simple remedy of saving the person and the situation with a simple move cannot be carried out any longer because ISKCON’s post-samadhi policy of Zonalism is still alive and well. Here you have the best example to prove the cancerous effects of the sick mentality that accompanies Zonalism with all its the false sense of proprietorship. The idea of lording it over material nature is anathema to those who are sworn to do the bidding of Shri Guru wherever they may be in the whole wide world. You know the drill, Prabhus, these are same ABC’s we learned in the first hour of meeting the devotees. And the problem is that forty years later the leaders still have not learned that they are not lords of the manor because (as His Grace Rupanuga, the sadhu of ISKCON, recently pointed out in his wonderful expose the GBC has a poor fund of knowledge.

So what will the Good Boys Club with their poor fund of knowledge do? They will do what they are famous for. The will form a committee with various ministers, the BKC or Butt Kicking Committee. The Chairperson of this committee will fly along with his secretary/cook/massage therapist to Philadelphia to undertake an intense investigation. They will raise the possibility that the mataji might actually have attacked the poor Guru with her behind. The investigation ruse will take time in hopes they can sweep the incident under the rug while the bruise on the derriere heals. Finally they will issue an officially-worded letter with some new stipulation, which boils down to: ‘‘boys and girls, the guru of Philly is on time out, he’s benched, and will not be able to play for three forthcoming games. And he must say he’s sorry.” The letter will be three pages long and filled with legalese, New Age Speak and interfaith morality and signed by the least senior of the entire GBC. All of this will take thousands of dollars. But don’t worry, Prabhus, it will not distract any book distributors from the real work of ISKCON because in America, few are doing it anyway.

On the Pamho Forum, some devotees are calling for an eye for an eye, or at least the kicking guru should experience a swift kick to his own hinder parts so that he knows what it feels like. Some want the guru of Philly to step outside like a man and get what is coming to him. Pow. Others want him to be put on trial in a criminal court and then sued in a civil court. But there is a real irony in the way the situation is unraveling. The author of the letter, Mahapurusha dasa, is a professional educator and a disciple of Dr R. It is ironic that Rabindra Swarup saw himself as the "educated aspect of ISKCON” and thus the academic guru emphasized a certain importance of mundane education, contrary to Srila Prabhupada’s instructions. Now that same education he stressed upon is being turned back on him because his disciple says that as an educator, he is duty bound to hand his guru over to the authorities.

Krishna consciousness is simple for the simple and difficult for the crooked, including crooked political leaders who wholesale the shallow standards of society and the pack of lies this modern world of Kali sells as college degrees. Where, then, does the solution lie? You all know the answer to that one, Prabhus: study Prabhupada’s books and follow them, too.
