Would the other GBC and their new gurus help me and Sulochana? As for the “new wave of gurus,” the wave that had been voted in at the 1986 Mayapura meeting, they had already voted to excommunicate Sulochana in 1985. In other words, the new self advertised “reformed” gurus were much more inclined to support the Kirtanananda and Hansadutta alliance than Sulochana. The new wave of “gurus” also wanted to distance themselves from Sulochana’s anti-homosexual guru stance, since they had been “certified as guru” at the recoronation of a known homosexual guru in March, 1986. The whole idea was to make it appear that Sulochana, or anyone else, who objected to the worship of homosexuals “as good as God” was an isolated crank, a nut-case, an extremist, an offender, if not: a blasphemer against “God’s living spokesmen gurus.”
It was just too quiet after the March meeting? There had been a lot of shouting matches, screaming matches, threats of resignation from various GBC, and so on and so forth, but just after the meeting it was all of a sudden silent. I thought, “This is not a good sign. They must be plotting something.” They were. As we found out later, two men claiming to represent “the New Vridavana heirarchy” had tried to get a devotee named Vipra (Vassilievich) to assassinate Sulochana. He refused, and in fact he had already been arrested for possession of a machine gun that had been found by police in Hansadutta’s car in 1980. Vipra told me that the machine gun was not his, he had “taken the rap” for Hansadutta. So we can also see how the “Kirtanananda and Hansadutta alliance” was already working in early 1986. Kirtanananda’s “heirarchy” needed a “hit man” and so they approached one of Hansadutta’s men.
We also heard a rumor that the people who had “voted” to reinstate the known homosexual guru at the March, 1986 meeting were Hrdayananada, Jayapataka, Harikesha and in sum, “the orignal 1977 corrupt core.” So, the “reform” had not changed those who were still sitting in the driver’s seat of ISKCON. Around this time a devotee came up to me and said, “No one is minding the store, otherwise why would all of this be going on”? I said, “Wrong! The store is not only being minded, it is being militantly run with an iron dictator’s fist. Nothing happens without the approval of the original eleven core. They are running things exactly as they want them to be run. And the new wave of gurus are just their puppet government.”
Sulochana himself had finally decided that fighting the corrupt group of eleven with their twenty “new and reformed” guru allies was just over his head. He called me and said that he had a new girlfriend. His plan was to marry her, get a stable residence, and then attack New Vridnavana with a custody lawsuit so that he could have access to his children. He was going to back-pedal his direct assault approach. I told him that this could be real dangerous. If they thought he had become an anonymous person who was slipping through the cracks, then they might attack him thinking no one would notice.
Sulochana then came to visit me in Berkeley. We talked as usual but as he was getting ready to leave he said, “I have the sudden feeling that I am not going to ever see you again Puranjana.” I said, “I have the same feeling. Something is up. You could be in big trouble. Please do not go to Los Angeles, we have a lot of sympathy here, and the police like us here in Berkeley. Do not go back to Los Angeles, this is dangerous.” Sulochana said, “No, it is better if we split up. That way if they get one of us, the survivor can help the police and the FBI.” He also said that he was not going to live “on the run” and “if they want to kill me, they will kill me anywhere I go. It does not matter if I am here or there.” We put our arms on each other’s shoulders and said good-bye. A few days later, I was informed by a Berkeley devotee, “Sulochana was assassinated, his body was found in his van, it was full of bullets.” I was shocked, saddened, but not really too surprised. I also knew that I was next on their list.
The day after the murder a devotee named Uvati dasi went to the Los Angeles police and reported to them that Sulochana had been murdered by a New Vrindavana devotee named Tirtha (Thomas Drescher) according to her sources within the New Vrindavana community. The West Virginia police picked him up within days. A New Vrindavana neighbor named Randal Gorby was then suspected of “snitching to the police.” A few days after Tirtha was arrested, Randal Gorby’s house blew up and he sustained severe burns over much of his body. He survived but had to undergo many painful skin-graft surgeries and so on. Seems that someone had screwed the valve out of a natural gas fixture, causing gas to leak into his house. When Randal had tried to light up a cigarette, the house blew up. The police were unable to determine who had tampered with the valve.
Shortly after that, officer Joe Sanchez came to meet me at the Berkeley temple. He said that the FBI had discovered that Tirtha was planning to assassinate me next. “You are next on their list, they found a note in Tirtha’s pocket with a description of your truck. They are doing surveillance on you…,” he said. He wanted me to move away, under a witness protection program perhaps, but I told him that this would be too complicated since the Krishna devotees find out where other Krishna devotees are …real soon. So I had to call Joe Sanchez every day at a random time so he could check on my welfare. Meanwhile, three “goons” came from New Vrindavana to beat me up. They were chasing me down the street when officer Joe Sanchez came screeching around the corner in his patrol car with the lights on and the siren blaring. He got out and placed handcuffs on all three. One of them was Hansadutta’s goon by the way. And he told them all to go back to West Vriginia and stay out of Berkeley.
As it turns out, Kirtanananda’s people were worried about “pulling off a murder” on their own. So they apparently enlisted the help of the then “guru” for Los Angeles, Ramesvara swami. Two of Ramesvara’s ex-defense forces members subsequently admitted to me that Ramesvara was very interested in taking Sulochana out of the picture. Evidence of this conspiracy also surfaced in the subsequent “murder of Sulochana” trial held in Orange County in Southern California. Of course they apparently tried to get Hansadutta to help as well, and perhaps that is why they were able to detect one of his men named Vipra who was living in San Francisco at the time. Meanwhile Satsvarupa was helping by writing inflamed rhetoric against us, and the rest of the GBC was helping by circulating Satvarupa’s writings.
One of the ex-defense men from Los Angeles told me that Ramesvara had said “Sulochana needs to get a new body,” and another said that he was called in to more or less help direct the final “hit.” Apparently, in a court hearing held in Orange county regarding the murder of Sulochana two of Ramesvara’s defense forces men admitted they were at the scene of the murder, but they claimed that they were not the shooters.
History 1986.3 (ref: 1986.3, 10. Apr. 2000)
RAMESVARA A SUSPECT
Some devotees suspected that “the pure as Jesus guru,” Ramesvara, was involved in the murder of Sulochana for a number of reasons. The main reason was that he had a lot to hide. For example, he was dating a young, actually minor-aged girl named Rukmini. He would go to the Santa Monica high school and pick her up after school for “dates.” He was alleged to be taking her to the cinema, Italian restaurants, the mall, and so on, for these “dates.”
A devotee named Vadiraja also noted that while he was waiting for three hours to talk to Ramesvara, all of the temple’s young girls were going in and out of his office to speak with “their guru.” He said that Ramesvara had a .45 caliber gun right next to his seat, hidden from view, but that Vadiraja had seen it once when Ramesvara was off guard. Why would a guru keep a gun right next to him in his office? Ramesvara was also allegedly participating in the local gym club’s “aerobic dance class” in the morning, mostly filled with young ladies dressed in skin-hugging exercise tights. Some devotees joked that this was his morning “jiggling meditation.”
For his “dating a young girl” Ramesvara had apparently become a de facto pedophile, and he was compared to Kirtanananda. Ramesvara had also allegedly been taking money from the sales of drugs and drug related items, which he did not want to have investigated as Sulochana wanted to. Ramesvara was living like a millionaire business executive which means he was actually siphoning off the society’s funds for himself. In other word, Ramesvara had a lot to hide and he was not pleased with the expose style of Sulochana. If Kirtanananda was exposed, there might be a domino effect, more gurus could be investigated. Even Hansadutta’s siphoning the society’s funds for his extravaganzas could be investigated, and that is why he backed Kirtanananda. So, they all had something to hide, and therefore Sulochana was their common enemy.
Exactly like Hansadutta, Kirtanananda, Jayapataka, Harikesha and others, Ramesvara also had a crew of mean looking, violent “enforcers.” His “enforcers” would “patrol” the Los Angeles temple neighborhood where they were brow-beating, harassing, intimidating, threatening, if not beating dissenters. He simply could not let one of these dissenters “get away with” as much as Sulochana was. Perhaps the other dissenters would get more bold if Sulochana was not checked?
Ramesvara’s thugs would do things like –go to a “dissenter’s” door in the middle of the night to pound on it with aluminum baseball bats, to scare dissenters into “absolute submission to the guru.” Even teeny babies and small children were terrorized by this tactic. Yet, who cared as long as the guru was able to continue dating his young female student? “The purity must be preserved at all costs”! There were a host of other diabolical tactics that Ramesvara’s violent thugs used to keep dissenters in line such as slashing the tires on their cars, placing sugar in their gas tanks, breaking the windows on their cars, and just creating a violent, malevolent, malefic, death threatening atmosphere around the temples to keep the “doubters” in check.
A couple of Ramesvara’s men had huge muscles and tattoos, and they looked like they had just got out of San Quentin prison. I recall that later, in 1998, one of these same muscle bound tattoo thugs came up and yelled at me for playing a harmonium in the temple, but by this time their spell had been more or less broken. One little devotee came up and chased away the muscle man with a broom. Being so much exasperated at the humiliation, he left the community. So their powers are dwindling now, but in 1986, they were at their peak.
Of course, by encouraging these criminal moods and actions, this naturally attracted a class of violent, perverse, if not demented criminals who enjoyed indulging in these odious behaviors. To sum, good people were being scared away and bad people were being welcomed and then given “posts of authority” such as “temple commander, temple enforcer” and so on. Therefore, in addition to criminal thug types, a wave of homosexuals; child molesters; women beaters and abusers; psychotic, mentally disturbed types; and similar other low-life characters began to emerge as a more prominent class amongst “Ramesvara’s loyal devotees” and ISKCON members in general.
Even in 1998 the remnants of Ramesvara’s temple thugs slashed all of the tires and broke out the windows of a “dissenter’s” car as I personally witnessed. In sum, there is still, to this day (the year 2000) a constant patrol of violent looking, angry, sneering, scowling, vulture staring “enforcers” in the front of the Los Angeles temple, since Ramesvara’s trained-up remnant clones are still in charge there today. When I would come out on the street they would do “the coyote walk” around me. That means three or four of them would start to circle me in a menacing way. Even the Los Angeles police picked up on this. They saw me on my bike one day and said, “Hey you, get around the corner. Get out of here! Can’t you see that these people want to clobber you? We are going to watch until you are around the corner.”
Anyway, in 1986 Ramesvara had a vested interest in keeping dissenters under control. Another reason he had to help check Sulochana is that he had to be loyal to the other violent thugs, perverts and molesters posing as gurus. If he did not help them curb Sulochana, they might not help him cover up his “dating of Rukmini” problem. The deviant “gurus” had to stick together. They were under attack, and thus even bringing Hansadutta back in some capacity, reinstating the pedophile Bhavananda, and whatever else it took, was acceptable. The crooks had to show solidarity now. The homosexual pedophile guru brotherhood had to show the world that they were still in charge.
NEW VRINDAVANA’S FIRST POLICE RAID
Yet things kept collapsing, although they were too blind to see it. The West Virginia police finally came to the conclusion that there may be “bodies buried in the hills of New Vrindavana,” as had been rumored for years. They were also investigating a previous murder that had been allegedly commited by Tirtha. So the West Virginia police came to New Vridavana with a back-hoe tractor to start, well, digging for bodies. They found some. At one point when they were digging, a group of “devotee vehicles” went by and the police allegedly “shit their pants” thinking, oh my God, they are coming after us –to maybe kill us– and we are out numbered.
In sum, the fact that the GBC’s “living gurus” were not gurus but leaders of a very violent and dangerous cult was apparent to almost everyone, except the people inside the cult. Sulochana had also told me that while living in New Vrindavana he had heard that some devotees had been killed dismembered, and their body parts had been put through a meat grinder, and the pieces fed to dogs. If that was the case, the police would not find as many bodies as there might actually be. After some buried bodies were found the police investigations continued. Yet Kirtanananda kept living in his cottage with little boys jumping in and out the windows and the community did not think anything was too much amiss.
As a show of solidarity with Kirtanananda, Umapati started a program of carrying Kirtanananda around the temple property in a palanquin, while he was dressed in glistening silks, with a golden crown. Then, there were the ever present boys to massage the swami. Meanwhile, some of the rank-and-file devotees outside New Vrindavana were gradually getting more and more disgusted that Kirtanananda was always accompanied by two large German shepherd dogs. I found it ironic that some of these devotees did not seem to show much emotion or concern for Sulochana’s fate, but they were reacting with a lot of anger and concern over reports that “Kirtanananda’s dogs are licking the offering plates.” Nor did these same devotees seem to care much that Kirtanananda was covered with the hands of little boys? They seemed to be more worried about some foolish dogs than devotees or even small children?
SULOCHANA’S SON DROWNS
Sulochana had said that his children were not safe at New Vrindavana. This was proven to be fully correct when one of his boys was found floating face down in a pond at New Vrindavana months after Sulochana was murdered. The police said there was no evidence of foul play, but how the child got there was not clear. Kirtanananda later said, “The boy is from a bad seed.” This caused a of people, especially Sulochana’s father, to feel a lot of disgust towards Kirtanananda’s insensitivity. Meanwhile, some of us could not but help think there may have been foul play.
JANE WALLACE INTERVIEW
Around this time I was contacted by a representative of the CBS television news broadcast called “West 57th Street.” This show was basically another version of the top rated “60 Minutes” show. When I met Jane Wallace she seemed like the very intelligent and resourceful type, and no wonder since she takes after her father, Mike Wallace, a top reporter for CBS news. She said that before she talked to me she wanted to show me filmed footage from New Vrindavana. There was Kirtanananda, covered, or really smothered, by the hands of little boys who were all massaging him simultaneously while he sat in his sacred (?) seat. Jane asked me rather bluntly, “He’s a homosexual, am I right”? I replied, “Yes, Kirtanananada is a homosexual. He keeps a lot of these boys in his cottage, and he has one boy riding on his lap all day long in his Jeep. There has been a story circulating for years that he has one of these boys in his sleeping bag at night. He likes little boys…”
Jane then said, “Thank God, I am so glad that I met you. All the other ‘Krishna’s’ that I’ve met so far kept telling me that Kirtanananda is a pure devotee, and he is their guru. It seems like the whole purpose of your movement is to worship homosexuals? So it is good to hear that this is not what the movement was supposed to be about. And I can say this much, that if some homosexual sat himself in some big chair in the front of my Church, the way this one is sitting in your Church, I would go up there myself and personally pull that man off of that chair. And I would not care what happened to me, I would never tolerate this for two seconds in my Church. Why are your people allowing this”?
So I had to explain how many of the devotees were divided. (1) One group has been brainwashed into worshipping homosexuals, because the leaders encourage and enforce that. Jane, perhaps you can see now that people who disagree might die? (2) Another sector has left and they just do not care. Many of them are smoking pot and so on. (3) Another sector call themselves the moderates of the movement, maybe they do not smoke pot, but they always criticize us for attacking Kirtanananda. Basically, they are more aligned with the homosexual’s worship than with us. (4) Another sector has ran off to join the founder of yet another homosexual deviant cult from 1936. (5) Most of the rest do not even want to discuss the issue, period. And we call this “silence means acceptance.” Sulochana’s printing of Prabhupada’s letters prove that many of the old timers in the movement knew all about Kirtanananda’s being a renegade snake in the grass all along, yet they are the most silent of all? Frankly, they are compromised too.
She wanted me to sum it up, “OK, how many people can you name who are helping you directly in opposing these fellows”? I said, “I only know of a few, maybe not even five.” Jane said, “That is what I thought. When we ask your people to speak up, few of them will. They are compromised with the homosexual worshipping group?” I said, “Well, you got it, that about sums it up.” She then asked, “Can you give me the names of other people who would be useful to interview about this”? I said, “Not right now.” Her footage of Kirtanananda being massaged by a pack of boys was then viewed by 23 million people on CBS news and its affiliates in America, and then in various places all over the world.
WORSHIP OF CHILD MOLESTERS as JESUS-LIKE GURUS
From: angel108b@yahoo.com (Puranjana)
Date: Oct. 26, 2003
In the “Hare Krishna” movement (sometimes known as “ISKCON”) over one thousand children were sexually molested in the society’s schools, mostly boys. Most of these molestations occurred just after the passing away of the founder of the Krishna movement, A.C Bhaktivedanta swami (Prabhupada) on November 14, 1977. Of interest, a separate investigation is now being made into why Prabhupada had complained of being poisoned just before he departed. It now appears that there was a “criminal takeover” of the Krishna movement which would explain why so many criminal activities — including the molesting of children — flourished within the institution after 1977. Therefore, although some of the leaders knew about “the poison complaint” just as they knew about “the child molesting problem” most of them kept silent to protect their positions of power. Some of the innocent laymen followers also knew about the poison complaint and later about the child molesting problem, but they were simply too afraid to mention these topics in public. This fact was also verified by some of their videotaped testimony, they were afraid of repression from the leaders. It would seem that the main reason “nothing was done” regarding the “troubles” was that a small cadre of insiders were benefiting financially from the whole process. They systematically repressed victims, eye witnesses and concerned members of the movement and this covered up various crimes and allowed crimes to continue.
In 1997 almost exactly twenty years after the poison complaint was made, I was given four audio tapes which are now called “the poison tapes,” recorded at the time of Prabhupada’s departure and providing audio evidence of the leader clique of 1977’s “poison plot” against Prabhupada. Of course this begs the question, “Why were these tapes hidden for twenty years”? And, “Why was the person who gave me the tapes afraid for his life”? On the audio tapes where Prabhupada is complaining of being poisoned it has subsequently been discovered that there are background “whisper” conversations amongst some of the leaders. These “secret” conversations have been verified by several professional audio forensic experts such as Jack Mitchell of Computer Audio Engineering. He and similar other audio experts verify there are recorded background (whispering) conversations amongst the leaders discussing “the poisoning of Prabhupada” just days prior to his departure. For example, one of the whispers that was verified by audio experts was that of Tamal’s (Thomas Herzig’s) who says, “It’s going down … the poison is going down.” Of course, Prabhupada himself was well aware that the leaders were always whispering around him. He would thus complain from time to time, “Why this ‘phish, phish’ whispering”? The chronic whispering of the leaders was all the more annoying since Prabhupada apparently understood that they were plotting against him. This is perhaps why Prabhupada warned his leaders, “Do not kill guru: to become guru.”
Indeed Prabhupada seemed to be quite aware of the leader’s plot against him as he indicated for example on November 3, 1977, “I have only one request, do not torture me and put me to death.” Prabhupada also complained to his doctor on November 8th, 1977 about being poisoned. The doctor asked, “Who is saying that you are being poisoned”? And Prabhupada replied, “All these friends.” Apparently this was Prabhupada’s sardonic way of saying, “My leaders, my so-called friends, they are discussing poisoning me.” In other words, Prabhupada complained that he was being poisoned and that “some friends said (whispered?) that I am being poisoned.” It is quite reasonable to assume that he was hearing the leader’s (his alleged “friends”) whispering about poisoning him — as in fact — they were. The doctor then said, “Whoever is giving you poison is a demon.” It is thus clear that Prabhupada was saying “someone” was giving him poison and it is also clear that the doctor understood the poisoner(s) had malefic intentions.
Tamal (the main suspect) confirms Prabhupada’s poison complaint in his own diary, “Prabhupada was thinking he was being poisoned.” Tamal also admits on the audio tape in November, 1977 that he and other leaders (such as Jayapataka) were engaged in discussing the topic of: gurus being killed — with poison, broken glass and so on. This seems to be quite a coincidence? The leaders were discussing “the process of poisoning and killing gurus” just at the same exact time that Prabhupada, their guru, was complaining of being poisoned? Thus “murder of gurus by feeding them poison or broken glass” was being discussed by the leaders. The leaders also discussed how a Calcutta lawyer had murdered his wife with poison. Thus “murder by poison” was also being discussed. Oddly, one of the leaders named Bhavananda (Charles Bacis) can be heard chuckling on the tape about the “lawyer poisoning his wife” conversation and joking about it. Why then is everyone talking about “poison of gurus,” “poison – murder cases,” “keeping Prabhupada’s food under watch so it cannot be poisoned,” and simultaneously Prabhupada says — he is being poisoned? Some of the eye witnesses who saw the leaders outside of Prabhupada’s room in November of 1977 were startled and alarmed at how these leaders were joking and laughing while Prabhupada was inside — complaining that he was being poisoned. Similarly, a former student who was then a young boy in 1977 testifies that he saw the leader “Bhavananda” sprinkling a white colored watery substance on Prabhupada’s food just before it was being given to him. Powdered arsenic can be made into a liquid. Also amazing is that when Prabhupada was once talking about poison in the late 1960s, he said, “There is one poison called a ….,” and Tamal very enthusiastically finishes the sentence, “It’s called arsenic”!
Tamal also warned that Prabhupada’s food and medicine must be given to him only by trusted people, the problem being that Prabhupada clearly is saying: he does not trust his “friends”? Prabhupada was upset to know his medicine were being locked up and Tamal was the only one with a key? Prabhupada was asked why he was feeling “mental distress” and he replied, because he is being given poison. Again, at this time the leaders present in the room confirmed that he was complaining of being poisoned. Indeed, “Someone gave him poison here” is a direct recorded statement from one of the leaders named Bhakti Caru. Thus it is clear Prabhupada was saying “someone” was poisoning him, this was not a complaint of some coincidental bad medicine. A few days later, Prabhupada confirmed his poison complaint even further by saying he was going to be killed by a “Ravana” (demoniac) person, and that this person was now present in his room: “Ravana will kill me if I stay in this room.” According to more recent testimony, doctors in India at the time also thought Prabhupada was being poisoned to death, but they were afraid to speak up, lest they or their families meet the same fate? Prabhupada also sent an urgent message for “all of my disciples” to immediately come to India, perhaps some of them might have helped him with his poison situation, but the leaders discounted, suppressed and hid that order — and his disciples never arrived.
In addition, unusually high levels of arsenic were found in a hair sample taken from Prabhupada, as was discovered by Dr. J. Stephen Morris of Columbia University in Missouri. That this level of arsenic could be fatal was confirmed by Dr. Richard T. Callery of the Delaware Forensic Science Laboratory. Meanwhile a number of medical professionals confirm that Prabhupada had the symptoms of a person being poisoned. Prabhupada himself was qualified as an apothecary pharmacist, and he also said that he had “the symptoms” of a person who is being poisoned. Prabhupada said that his astrology chart explains his poison complaint. And in the chart it says that he would live for six more years, provided he can survive the next six months, but there is extreme danger from “juniors and subordinates” (the leaders). The butler, the subordinates, did it? At the same time it was evident that Prabhupada had many doubts about these leaders. He often expressed that they were motivated, ambitious, simply interested in pounds, shillings and pence and importantly: they want to be gurus but they are not qualified to be gurus, and so on. This is another reason some of the leaders may have wanted to eliminate Prabhupada, he was constantly revealing that they were not qualified to be gurus, and they had ambitions to be worshipped as gurus.
On yet another audio tape spoken in December of 1977 Tamal says that Prabhupada had asked, “Can you give me medicine, please give me medicine that will make me disappear.” In other words, according to Tamal, Prabhupada wanted to be poisoned to death. Yet there is no evidence Prabhupada ever asked to be poisoned to death, rather the evidence is that he had said, “Do not torture me and put me to death.”

In addition, Prabhupada’s sister (Pisima) later confirmed that Prabhupada had wanted her to buy food at the market and cook it for him, since he thought he was being poisoned. In sum, there is no evidence that Prabhupada had asked to be killed, rather the evidence is that he was making some effort to remedy his situation. Then in 1998 I was interviewed by Jaya Narayana Singh on the “Hindu Meditation Hour” radio program in Houston and he was at once convinced that Prabhupada had been poisoned, and we played the audio “poison tapes” on the air. This show was heard by seventy thousand Hindu listeners. This event really upset Tamal since Houston was his “zone.” Tamal then exhorted other leaders to combat the poison case with “a writing campaign.” Unfortunately, their book “Not That I Am Poisoned” was filled with many flawed statements, outright lies and misrepresentation. For example, their alleged “audio forensics expert” cited in their book was actually the former owner of a bankrupted rock and roll recording studio, with absolutely no credentials or background to conduct any audio forensics. Their “expert” then signed a letter admitting to us that he had been coerced by the leaders to make these false statements.
Another of the leaders who heard the complaint directly in Prabhupada’s room in 1977 was Adridharana dasa (Calcutta). He initially agreed with us in 1997 that the poison complaint was “very alarming” to him in 1977 when he heard it from Prabhupada directly. He encouraged me to “investigate the issue” although he flatly refused to help us. However, as soon as he saw we were making great headway with thousands of people being convinced, he suddenly began to support the statements of the main suspects who were in the room and he attacked the poison complaint as a fabrication. This has back fired on him miserably. It has merely convinced many people that he and other leaders “knew all along” and they are merely cover up “yes men.” In other words, many people are gradually realizing that most of these dire events were known to many leaders all along, but the leaders and their entourage covered things up. An effort is currently underway to try establish legal homicide charges regarding the poisoning of Prabhupada. As one would expect those of us who brought forward evidence of “the poisoning of Prabhupada,” or the child molesting or any other similar issue, have had our lives threatened by the false guru clique or their followers. For example, at this year’s Rathayatra festival (2003) one of the leaders named Trivrikrama swami said to me, “The most amazing thing is, that you are still alive — when so many people want to kill you.” Other evidence of Prabhupada’s being poisoned has emerged and is documented in several books and web sites on this topic.
It is a well known fact that criminal actions have been suppressed, and anyone who brings these crimes out does so — at his peril. No doubt the poison clique members were counting on their “threats of death” mood to keep the poison case from being opened up at all, forever. Yet some of us persevered not caring for their threats. They apparently had not figured this possibility into their original plan. Thus, the poison case was designed to suppress everyone, starting with Prabhupada himself. As such, immediately after Prabhupada departed eleven leaders declared that they were Prabhupada’s “appointed guru successors.” The leaders simultaneously hid the poison tapes as well as many other tapes, hid all of Prabhupada’s letters, hid Prabhupada’s “last will and testament” and many other related documents, and they even hid the alleged evidence of their so-called guru appointment. For example, I personally had to dig into a guru’s safe in 1985 to get a copy of the will. As you would expect, the evidence of their so-called guru appointment never existed. cont'd...
They also suppressed “dissenters” who knew that the leaders had not been “appointed as gurus” with threats of excommunication — and violence. In short, the leaders failed to produce any clear evidence — that Prabhupada had appointed any of them as his “guru successors.” As no small coincidence “the eleven gurus” included some of the very same individuals who were recorded “whispering” about their involvement in Prabhupada’s being poisoned. It thus seems that there is a link between: (a) Prabhupada’s apparent “untimely departure,” (b) the false “appointed guru” claim and, (c) crimes including the subsequent “child molesting.” The main suspects in the poison complaint also orchestrated the “eleven gurus” imbroglio and subsequent child molesting regime. Indeed, some Krishna dissenters refer to the “eleven guru’s” regime as “the enforced cult ritualistic worship of homosexual pedophiles.” Clearly the “eleven gurus” started a sort of anti-women, children and family atmosphere, which instead endorsed opulent lifestyles for a few elite leaders. As Krishna sympathizer and Berkeley Theological University scholar Dr. J. Stillson Judah said, “They (the guru clique) disregarded the law, they took the law into their own hands, this is called antinomianism.” Indeed, Prabhupada himself was complaining that he was a victim of criminal action from the same clique?
And now, since the poison case has emerged many Krishna followers assume that the same leaders who orchestrated the molesting: also poisoned Prabhupada. Prabhupada had said all along that these leaders were merely going to be administrators, but some of them evidently wanted to be his “eternally worshipped guru successors.” The desire to be worshipped and to live opulently with fancy exotic cars, nice houses, unlimited travel expense accounts, silk clothing, costly jewellery, many servants, and sometimes unlimited sex with followers and so on and so forth was and is a clear “motive” for why Prabhupada said he was being poisoned. “It was all about taking over the money and assets of the society” is what many now believe. Prabhupada himself often said that deviant followers sometimes artificially attempt to become their guru’s successor in order to take over the mission and its assets.
This also explains why some leaders did not “investigate or intervene” in “the troubles” generated by other leaders, including the child molesting. Apparently, members of the takeover clique held an axe over each other’s heads knowing the inner workings of the plot, and they did not want to jeopardize their stolen piece of the pie. This was confirmed for example in a conversation between Hansadutta (Hans Kary) and Tamal (Thomas Herzig) in December of 1980. Both of them admitted that they had only been appointed as administrators, not gurus. Tamal also admits that many people believed he had somehow killed Prabhupada. Hansadutta similarly admitted that many people thought he also wanted Prabhupada to die, so he could sit in Prabhupada’s “guru seat.” Indeed in 1976 Tamal told me that I was “waiting for Prabhupada to die — so I could sit in Prabhupada’s seat.” Thus, the idea that Prabhupada was “in the way” of the motivated leaders, and maybe it would be better for them if he was “dead and gone,” was already known even while he was physically present. And thus Prabhupada himself sometimes asks the leaders, “Have I become a burden”? Read: Am I in the way of your takeover plot?
That wide scale molestation incidents occurred has been corroborated in various American newspaper articles, televised documentaries and other documents, such as documents filed in a recent Dallas, Texas court procedure filed by the law firm of “Windle Turley.” This law firm represented a fraction of the victims, only ninety seven of the former students. The Windle Turley lawsuit claims that “widespread” molestation occurred in the society’s schools. This fact has not been disputed by the leaders of the false Krishna movement. Rather, the leaders first of all tried to avoid paying the requested four hundred million dollars by declaring themselves bankrupt. Then, as the movement’s leaders saw that their bankruptcy “avoidance technique” was not going to be accepted by the Dallas courts they “settled the case” by agreeing to pay the victims a large sum. The actual amount to be paid to victims has not yet been determined by the Dallas courts. In other words, the leaders of the false Krishna movement directly or de facto agreed that mass molestations occurred under their negligent management and they did not want to attempt to dispute that fact in court.
How did such a large number of molestations occur in such a small organization, and in such a short period of time? First of all, it has been reported that some of the “gurus” were molesting minors themselves. Thus, they sought out like minded deviants as their supporters, administrators, and school teachers. In sum, the molesting went on under a sort of umbrella of protection from the overall infrastructure of the eleven gurus. Each guru acted more or less like an independent tyrannical despot, and thus they resisted being investigated by anyone, or by each other. It must also be noted that after 1977 there were many “guru crises” (usually sex and drugs) which were coupled with criminal activities and this was creating a smoke screen for the molesting problem. And some of these “crises and crimes” incidents were reported in Newspapers in America. The “shift of assets to the guru clique” would also explain why the children in the schools were severely starved, beaten and molested. The “gurus” lived like millionaires while the children in their schools often had to eat old scraps and wear rags. The false guru clique’s “plan” was and still is very clear: to shift almost the entire financial asset of the movement into their hands, and to live like millionaire kings, and to neglect everyone else including the children.
These “crises and crimes” were in fact synchronized with the increase in the society’s molestation. Thus, due to numerous “more publicized” crises and criminal activities, the increase of cases of child molestations evolved “under the radar” as the other crises and crimes became the primary focus of the media, and the false Krishna movement’s leadership. For example, in 1979 Berkeley police discovered that the Northern California “guru” had an illegal machine gun in the trunk of his car. That guru’s farm was subsequently raided by the Sheriff’s department. As suspected, stolen credit cards, illegal weapons and explosives were found at the site. During that same year a “temple” drug business in the Southern California guru’s “zone” was uncovered by Police in Laguna Beach. In 1980, the entire Krishna society lost a big lawsuit in Syracuse, New York, since the court said the Krishna’s “engaged in a widespread and systematic scheme of accosting, deceit, misrepresentation and fraud on the public,” according to Federal Judge Howard G. Munson.
Simultaneously, the guru for Los Angeles “Ramesvara” was doubting the entire guru program and he wanted to resign. He had been faulted for “dating” a minor aged female student. Simultaneously, the guru for England “Jayatirtha” was taking LSD, smoking marijuana and he was having illicit sex with followers. Simultaneously, the guru “Hansadutta” was having troubles with Federal authorities who raided his farm. Simultaneously a woman named “Jadurani” (Judy Koslofsky) was beaten nearly to death for protesting the false gurus at “Kirtanananda’s” farm in West Virginia. Simultaneously the guru Tamal was saying he was the best of all the eleven, and a move was afoot to remove him from the guru clique. There were thus a number of simultaneous public instances of various guru crises coupled with outright crimes, as well as incidents that were simply kept hidden from the general public but were known to certain members within the society. Thus the child molestation issue was barely even noticed especially by the leaders and many members of the hijacked Krishna movement itself, due to the leader’s “smoke screen” of diverting attention to these other “crises and crimes,” as well as their mood of extreme oppression towards anyone who tried to resolve such issues.
One of the biggest problems was that at least two of the alleged eleven post-1977 “gurus” were themselves homosexual pedophiles according to many reports, and their expanding molesting regimes were vociferously supported by most of the other leaders. Thus, once these homosexual pedophiles became “worshipped as Jesus-like gurus” it became very difficult for any “dissenters” to expose the molestation problem, or any other problem, since a dissenter was “challenging God’s living guru successor.” In sum, “dissenters” to the worship of deviants as “Jesus-like gurus” were banned, beaten and threatened with death even early on. For example, in 1980 when I opposed the guru for England “Jayatirtha” (James Immel) for his illicit sex and drug problems, four of the leaders of the renegade Krishna movement ordered that I was to be banned from the society. Jayatirtha then said to me, “Watch your back” since he implied they would perhaps orchestrate my murder if I continued to “dissent.” As it turns out, the leaders did eventually orchestrate the murder of my writing associate Sulochana dasa (Steve Bryant) and I was also on their “hit list” according to Berkely Police Officer Joeseph Sanchez. Generally, only when events attract the notice of the police and media do “the gurus” have another one of their fire brigade “emergency meetings” to try to resolve the crisis. Otherwise, the whole effort is to preserve the “status quo” of their opulent lifestyles.
Also, important apologists and advocates for the eleven gurus emerged. These persons were very similar to the official “Papal apologists” of the medieval Catholic Church in that they gave important contrived ecclesiastical doctrinal credibility to the false gurus. Perhaps the most important apologist and protagonist was the false guru’s 1978 “advisor” named Bhakti Raksaka Sridhara Maharaja of Navadvip (West Bengal) India. In early 1978 Sridhara first of all insisted that the eleven were “gurus” fit to be worshipped as “Vishnupadas” or essentially “equal to Jesus – gurus.” He said that these gurus must be viewed as “absolute” (fully as pure as Jesus) by their followers and that “none should protest.” This set up a fanatical scenario where “the gurus” had violent followers and “protesting” was dangerous, even deadly. Sridhara vociferously aided the idea that dissenters were unacceptable, a sort of updated version of burning witches and heretics.
Sridhara’s first proposal in 1978 was that the “Governing Body Commission” system established by Prabhupada had to be dismantled since “this idea is not found in our tradition.” Prabhupada had wanted that the society be managed by an oversight committee, something like a Church Council. Instead, Sridhara replaced the “managerial oversight system” with his idea, the society needs to worship false and motivated “living gurus.” Sridhara said, the former managers have to be viewed as equal to Jesus “gurus” and no longer as mere “managers.” Sridhara never bothered to explain how the practical management of the society, and its schools, was to be conducted after he essentially disbanded the managerial body and turned it into eleven maverick guru cults. Sridhara dismantled the management body and this is one of the reasons the schools deteriorated into an imbroglio of molestation because very simply, no one was “managing” anymore because the managing system is “not found in the tradition.” Without important apologists like Sridhara the false eleven gurus would not have survived their numerous “crises” for much time. Instead, almost every time the numerous “crises and crimes” emerged within the false guru clique, the apologists (sometimes by their own admission) “pleaded on behalf” of the false guru clique, especially when their deviations and failures emerged as a public or legal embarrassment. Sridhara constantly said, we have to support the false maverick gurus and forget all about following a system of management and oversight. Lawless. So he is the architect of the antinomianism “a lawless society in the name of religion.” And because there was a lawless society children were the first to became his victims because: they have no defense.
Sridhara had also been informed that there was “no evidence” that the gurus had ever been appointed by Prabhupada, yet he never asked to see the evidence that they were appointed as gurus. Indeed Prabhupada said that in 1936 Sridhara did the same thing, he participated in a “kill guru and become guru” project where he appointed a guru “without authority.” Sridhara tried to replace Prabhupada’s guru with a deviant who was also a homosexual. Worse, after 1977 there were all sorts of well known deviations amongst those false gurus such as drugs and illicit sex, problems which Sridhara again simply shrugged off as not very significant. Sridhara merely waved his hands in the air and said, “We must keep these eleven gurus in their posts.” Apparently, he did the same thing in 1936 when people were getting beaten and murdered for objecting to his false gurus at that time. He simply walked away and left the victims getting beaten and killed without taking any steps to remedy the situation. “No monitoring oversight is required, simply worship false gurus and if you get beaten or killed for objecting, who cares”?
Sridhara also helped the false gurus write “position papers” explaining — why gurus worshipped like Jesus fail and become deviants. He supported the idea that gurus are sometimes engaged in illicit sex with men, women and children, and they are orchestrating the beatings and murders of dissenters. Yet Prabhupada had given members of his Krishna society stern warnings: avoid “taking advice” from Sridhara. Prabhupada had said that Sridhara was the main architect of a 1936 homosexual guru imbroglio in India which destroyed his guru’s mission, and had resulted in beatings and murders of dissenters, bad publicity, financial ruin of the mission and so on. Prabhupada said that Sridhara had also dismantled the “Governing Body” or oversight committee within the 1936 Gaudiya Matha and replaced that with his violent false guru cults. Again, this simply aided the idea that no one could investigate the crimes of “the gurus.” There was no overall monitoring, oversight, watch dog or managerial board which Prabhupada had originally ordered, just eleven self-styled “equal to Jesus gurus.” Moreover the whole idea of an ecclesiastical body which is monitoring thing like embezzlement, molesting, crimes, even murders and so on “is not found in the scriptures.” Instead, renegade violent guru cults is “what is found in the scriptures”? This is why Prabhupada said Sridhara’s ideas are “severe offenses.”
Sridhara thus destroyed Prabhupada’s whole 1970s idea of a unified and jointly controlled and monitored effort for the Krishna mission. Instead, using Sridhara’s model, each “guru” became a self-governing autonomous dogmatic dictator. Sridhara said that the eleven gurus can use titles like “Vishnupada” (as pure as God: a person equal to Jesus) and yet he knew full well these same people were having illicit sex and drug problems, and he knew this since 1967. Sridhara was also asked, “How should we deal with the crimes and crises of people being worshipped as if they are as pure as Jesus”? In other words, as more and more people were getting excommunicated, beaten and molested, and sometimes assassinated, Sridhara was asked: what are we to do? Sridhara simply kept repeating his mantra, “None should complain, do not try to solve the crisis, wait and see. There is no such thing as monitoring oversight committees.” Later, he finally said the gurus should have a “reform.” Yet his idea of a reform was: to create a “guru vote system” so the false gurus could “vote in many more gurus,” as if homosexual pedophiles are qualified to rubber stamp “more gurus.” Sridhara was even asked, what are we to do with persons who are “envious” of the eleven false gurus? And Sridhara replied, the envious should be voted in — as the next wave of gurus! Of course Sridhara’s self appointed star pupil, Tripurari swami (Tom Beaudry) of Philo California was the first one standing in line to get voted in by the homosexual pedophiles as their anointed “guru.”
Thus, many of Sridhara’s ideas are contradictions. Gurus are pure (as Jesus), simultaneously gurus are voted in and appointed by the impure. Gurus are to be worshipped as if they are on the level of Jesus, simultaneously gurus are sometimes deviants. Gurus are to be seen as confidential lovers of God, simultaneously gurus are sometimes child molesters. Gurus are supposed to save the whole world, simultaneously gurus have small geographical zones. Gurus do not deviate, simultaneously deviations of gurus have to be tolerated and overlooked, and so on and so forth. Gurus are absolute, and there is no such thing as a monitoring oversight committee in religion. Lawless. Thus, these ideas are pillars to the child molesting problem since due to his ideas dangerous and fanatical “guru cults” were allowed to grow, and everyone else had to sit back, tolerate, wait and see, and “none should protest.” And there should be no system of oversight, since this is against scriptures. Lawless tyrants posing as gurus is — found in scriptures, and that is what Sridhara and his team supported.
Oddly, Sridhara never seemed to ask about the welfare of the victims of the guru regime he endorsed? Again, according to Prabhupada, Sridhara had also backed another homosexual guru cult in 1936 which resulted in “dissenters” being banned, beaten, and killed by being beaten with bricks. The ten year old child of the guru Sridhara appointed was poisoned with arsenic in order to continue the false guru program, and so on. And yet when Sridhara was asked why he had created such a malefic regime, he said, “So what, killing is found in God’s holy scriptures.” In sum, Sridhara tries to blame God for the troubles he has generated. No remorse. Later, one of the main “gurus” that Sridhara backed after 1977, Jayatirtha, had his head chopped off with a knife due to his illicit sexual affairs with a married disciple. This was reported in the headlines of the British Press “Guru’s Head Hacked Off.” Again, Sridhara never issued any apology to either the molested children, the families of murdered dissenters, or to the people shocked by his anointed guru’s murder and so on, apparently he went to his grave thinking that he was authorized to promote wife stealing, homosexual, child molester and murder of dissenter’s — guru cults.
After some time even Sridhara finally realized that his false gurus were acting horrendously and they were destroying many people’s lives. He concluded that the guru clique was “acting like insensitive computers and army tanks driving over their own troops,” although he never clarified that he was wrong to have supported these false gurus, or that God’s successors are not deviants and so on. And so the guru clique eventually rejected Sridhara, but they kept all of his statements and documents intact which supported the false gurus. The remnants of one of the Sridhara cults is currently residing in Philo, in Mendocino county California, headed up by his so-called successor, Tripurari swami (Tom Beaudry). Tripurari distributes Sridhara’s books explaining that God’s successor gurus (acharyas aka as pure as Jesus) are sometimes “mad after money, women and followers.” Apparently gurus like Jesus are such mad fools that they molest children as well as orchestrate the murder of dissenters, at least according to their books.
Tripurari was upset with 1990 ritvik meeting — reform of molester gurus bad idea —
– wanted to get voted in as guru by Kirtanananda
– says we are demons for not accepting GBC pedophile guru system
– pal guru Sudhir blooped
– his follower says it is “offense” to challenge pedophile guru lineage
– endorses pedophile lineage leaders as gurus, knowing they are or were voted in by pedophiles
– says worship of Jesus is bogus ritviks
– Glorified Tamal after his departure
– hangs with Virabhau who says “you get the same experience” (pedophile sex) as if meeting a bona fide guru (equal to Jesus)
– says he was chanting while the molesting was going on and he knew nothing of it, no he wanted to get voted in and he said we are demons for protesting
– considers himself “equal to Jesus” pure devotee guru since he went along with pedophile regime and wanted to get voted in to it
– selling T-shirts/ Danavir says Tripurari is engaged in false charity collections (help us out then Danavir)
– buying real estate with t-shirt money
– claims to be a charity
– Selling bogus books saying gurus go mad
– Rejected by Sridhara’s named successor Govinda maharaja as “a revolter.”
Sridhara: “For those that have got no sraddha [faith], they may go away. They may not accept (Govinda is my successor). I do not care. I don’t accept them. If anyone has no recognition of this opinion of mine, I do not want them to live in the Mission. I drag them out.”
Around 1986 the guru clique adopted another big apologist and “advisor” named Narayana Maharaja, of Mathura UP, India. He became prominent just about the same time the eleven gurus recoronated one of their biggest homosexual pedophile gurus, the molesting was going on all over the society, and they were being investigated by the FBI for orchestrating some well publicized murders. At this time, Narayana Maharaja emerged as the new “darling” of the false gurus and he said they were uniquely qualified to talk about “conjugal love with God” (while in fact they were orchestrating mass molesting of children and murdering dissenters to that molesting process). Oddly, Narayana Maharaja also said that the guru clique still had to accept that Sridhara is “a bona fide (pure as Jesus) guru.” And he furthermore cited that “there was nothing wrong” with Sridhara’s establishing a homosexual as a guru in 1936. In other words, Narayana Maharaja directly endorsed the guru clique’s voted in gurus, appointing gurus, reinstating homosexual pedophiles gurus and so on, and he basically endorsed all of Sridhara’s rhetoric saying in 1990 that Sridhara is a pure devotee (acharya) and his ideas are all bona fide. Narayana Maharaja in short agrees with Sridhara that the oversight management committee idea is not found in the scriptures, and so he supported the lawless guru (antinomiansm) process and he was known for about ten years as Tamal’s close associate.
What we see here is that the SM, Narayana Maharaja and BP and BV Puri Maharaja sector created the false theology under which these “rotten” gurus operated.
