Jayo Tamo!
Glad to hear the good news about Shri Doctor Prabhu. This is our life and soul -- humbly spreading Prabhupada's mercy far and wide. What else is there to do in life? Mope around, lament and then die after a few miserable years? Naw, been there done that! Who better to preach to the Ph.D.'s then Sri Tamoharaji, ACBSP, M.Sc., AUD(c), etc., etc., etc. -- and Mr. Smith's favourite student? ;)
There's an old saying, "If you want to be unhappy, think about yourself" (and your own problems). "But if you want to be happy, then think about others" (and helping them with their problems) -- as you are doing with your first-class website. So keep it up, Prabhujee Maharaj.
Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita: sukha-dukhe same krtva/ labhalabhau jayajayau... "Do thou fight for the sake of fighting, without considering happiness or distress, loss or gain, victory or defeat..." So please carry on, Krsna's soldier. Time is running short for us all. Let's go out fighting the good fight for Krsna and Srila Prabhupada.
Baba, I've always admired you for your razor sharp intelligence. Plus, you have a great fire in your belly -- you can accomplish a lot (almost anything) when you focus your mind. For example, "Coquitlam Audiology and Hearing Aid Clinic." You single-handedly created a successful business out of virtually nothing but the sweat of your own brow. You're a fabulous writer to boot -- with an oceanic intellect capable of grasping the most subtle of philosophies and concepts. These are but a few of your strengths. Please cultivate those strengths and "rage, rage against the dying of the light."
I'll always remember that is was you who taught me how to stretch -- the first time I ever heard of such a thing! So I'll humbly remind you about the benefits of getting healthy. Please try to drink lots of pure water, stretch, walk, or go to the gym, try yoga, Tai Chi... whatever. If need be, try and lose a few pounds. Move the old bod, by hook or by crook. Eat well, try juicing, greens drinks, protein powder, B Vitamins, dahl, rice, capatis, dahi... or whatever turns you on. The clock is ticking -- both individually and collectively. I've recently been in the hospital four times facing death head on each time -- down to 120 pounds (even less) on intravenous, poked full of holes, swallowing handfuls of deadly pills -- and I'll tell ya, Prabhu, it ain't no way to go. Might as well dedicate ourselves to the higher cause because the lower cause is a total dead end, bas. I humbly speak from personal experience (pratyaksa). Anyway, I have nothing to teach you, but I'd like to see you strong and determined, full of life with a sense of spiritual adventure, meeting all challenges, strong and confident as before... as I always remember you.
Above you'll find my personal motto in life, and old Arabic saying: "I suffered, I learned, I changed." How can we escape suffering in this world? But that very same suffering can become our teacher, an impetus for gritting our teeth, pulling up our socks, and going for it. You've been blessed with a mission in life, Tamoji... all glories to your service!
OK, thanks for listening. Hope to hear more good news from your end as the days and weeks unfold. Your future's so bright, you gotta wear shades! (I hope to read more of your super-excellent writings too.)
"So far as I am concerned, I have accepted you as my disciple and you have accepted me as your spiritual father. This relationship cannot be ended anymore. It is eternal."
(Srila Prabhupada letter, July 9, 1969)
Jaya Srila Prabhupada! Jaya Srila Prabhupada's causeless mercy!
Warm wishes to Mother Kay as well.
Ys,
Pd

Lovely quote! Thanks, Prabhu!
Feeling a bit better, managing my daily preaching works, hanging in there.
Announcement; Dr. Arnold Smith today asked for ritvik diksha via SPI stie. That makes roughly eight devotees who got their names and gayatri etc through the online temple. Nice prestigious to get such a devotee with Ph.D. Just goes to show that it is possible to preach effectively online also.
Sending my appreciations and bestest well-wishes!
