Jnana can be manipulated but tattva cannot be manipulated, what you heard and personally realized is tattva. They must be combined otherwise jnana if it is not constantly refreshed or memorized or read it might fade away from memory. That is why Jnanis they are always in anxiety so they always keep themselves studying different scriptures to keep the mind occupied otherwise the mind is the devil’s workshop will come true. Whereas the bhakta the realizer of the tattva that Sri Krishna is Supreme Lord and I am His eternal servant is not in anxiety because he has Krishna at home or temple in the form of Archa Vigraha and devotee knows that Krishna will not run away from Him. If you ask that person where is Krishna he will say Krishna is at Home or Temple, he will never say I don’t know where He is?
Tattva is a realized knowledge and it becomes part of your life or way of life which means you will live it every day. Getting up every day in the morning brushing teeth, taking bath, eating, etc. one doesn’t forget nor this things need to be memorized or refreshed. Same way Bhakti which is the result of tattva becomes part of your life. For example, the tattva (truth) is that Srila Prabhupada is your Divine Spiritual Master. You have seen Him and served Him. This is tattva because first you heard about Srila Prabhupada through someone and then you had divine opportunity to meet Srila Prabhupada and hear from Him and then the divine opportunity to become His disciple. Now there may be more knowledge (jnana) coming into you about Srila Prabhupada but all of them will go inside or assimilated in the tattva meaning become part of your knowledge that Srila Prabhupada is Sri Guru.
The difference between Tattva and Jnana is only in the realization, Jnana is theory and tattva is bestowed by Sri Guru or Sri Guru Krishna Paramtma Himself. Once you have become tattva darsi then jnana from every scriptures will fall in right place. For example, Srila Vyasadeva’s Srimad Bhagavatam is manifested on one truth only that is, “Krishnas tu Bhagavan Swayam.” The whole Srimad Bhagavatam contains verses from different scriptures to support and reveal that Sri Krishna is Supreme Lord Himself. Same way a tattva darsi sees every scripture and it’s essence in relation to Sri Krishna Himself. Whereas Jnanis cannot direct their study of Shastra towards Sri Krishna even though they can see every aspect of the sastra and the universe points out to only one Person and that is Supreme Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna. Still the jnanis they won’t look at it in that way and to make it easier for them to deny the truth, they will just mention Brahman is everything. The acceptance of Brahman gives them the false assurance that they are doing the right thing and saves them from serving and surrendering to Sri Krishna Who is a Person. Whereas Tattva darsi is automatically a devotee because Sri Krishna has made him/her realize Who He is and how to please Him. Now any jnana that devotee may acquire will only to please Sri Krishna and nothing else and Sri Krishna from within the heart may direct the devotee what is relevant and what is not. Otherwise, this entire life time is not enough to study the shastras and the acaryas’ writings. A tattva darsi devotee has this advantage that Sri Krishna will advise the devotee to study relevant subject matter pertaining to Him only. Sri Krishna may advise the devotee to go on you tube to look for a particular recipe for His lunch or dinner offering. Now, it may not be related to Shastra however because Sri Krishna wants that particular item so we have to as a bhakta seek out the methodology (written by some karmi) and make some adjustment so Sri Krishna can accept the offering and enjoy it. It may sound unorthodox but devotees are unorthodox in their ways. The entire purpose is to please Sri Krishna. There was a story of some rich guy in some middle east country who had special cigar made fresh in Cuba and every morning flown to his place and he will take few puffs and then throw it away. Imagine a cook who prepares offering for Krishna everyday becomes more expert from gathering knowledge from you tube and internet and books. All these the devotee cook does so he can offer variety of wonderful dishes for Sri Krishna. Don’t you think Sri Krishna will be looking forward to eating those delicacies, I know Gopal would definitely want to place His Divine Hand and Mouth on those items and check it out Himself. Of course, Jnanis they just study scriptures so they will not be inclined to serve and give pleasure to Krishna, they are miserable by denying Sri Krishna as a Person and this way they become miserable by not serving Him. Whereas devotee Sri Krishna is his life and soul, Mother Yashodha everyday She is thinking what to make for Gopal and what will please Him. So Mother Yashodha talks to other Gopis who visit Her and saying out aloud what She should make for Gopal? Because it is Gopal suggestions start pouring in what would taste best, this is Hari Katha for Ladies of Vrajabhumi. There is no mention of slokas or prayers, etc. only time tested recipes of sweets and savories. The moment Gopal gets the message that Mother Yashodha is making something nice Gopal and His friends drop whatever they are doing and run towards Sri Yashodha Bhavan to enjoy the hearty cooking of Mother Yashodha. Here there is no mention of scriptures just plain old day to day activity which keeps Gopal always near His Mother Yashodha. Mother Yashodha is Tattva Darsi, Sri Krishna revealed Himself as a baby boy Gopal to Her and made Her whole life geared towards Him.
