Krishna Kirtan For instance, here is what I find interesting about the July 9th 1977 letter in particular:
1) First of all it was signed by TKG only and no other previous secretary or disciple signed it jointly. In other words no 'witness' to such an important document.
2) Srila Prabhupada was used to giving directives himself. Why would he need his secretary to write such an immensely important letter and not do it himself? It doesn't seem right. The letter itself is clearly written in language on behalf of Srila Prabhupada, not Srila Prabhupada's own words.
3) Srila Prabhupada's signature is shown as 'Approved' by him, in other words, one could take this as a letter/statement not directly written by him, and it wasn't. His signature is also on an unclear area of the page, not on clear white.
4) Many of the individuals listed for such task were those who gave trouble to Srila Prabhupada from the very beginning and later. Not only that, but for the most part they have always worked together in the after years.
5) Ultimately regardless of how this letter came about, it was a 'ritvik' order (although the secretary could not even spell the word right). Interestingly those same(!) exact individuals turned later into the the self-appointed "acharyas" (no longer ritviks obviously). These 11 then ran the entire movement with an iron ecclesiastical fist from 1978 onwards. And to make the matter even more strange, the so-called appointment tape appears to have turned out to be a farse/edited also.
What gives? Just saying.
