Rasa Manjari My understanding of Srila Prabhupada being the Acarya for the next 10,000 years and Srila Gour Govinda Swami's
place in the society of Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhupada, as well as the position of pure devotees in future is like this: Srila Prabhupada is the Sun, His mercy is shining on everyone. It is very hard to escape the rays of the Sun and everyone who reads His books or chants Hare Krishna with faith in Him or attends to any program he started and watches over gets eternally benefitted. He is like the kirtan party of Sridham Navadwip, His mantra is "Chant and be Happy". He is out to change the world and He is teaching vaidhi bhakti. Srila Gour Govinda Swami is for the liberated souls, He is for raganuga bhakti, He is like the private kirtans in the courtyard of Shivas, He is like the moon, if you want to enjoy the moon light you have to come out into it, children, lovers, artists love the moonlight. His mantra is cry more! cry more! He teaches what Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur says: that our real occupation is to serve the Bribasis, Who are feeling great separation from Lord Krishna, aka the later pastimes of Sriman Mahaprabhu at Gambhira.
Srila Prabhupada is the early pastimes. Srila Gour Govinda Swami is one embankment of the flowing river of Krishna Prema, Srila Prabhupada is the other. Two embankments. There is Gauranga Yuga and Gauranga Prem Yuga. Most will enter one, some will enter the other.
This is a very special Kali yuga. The pure Vaisnavas who worship either Srila Prabhupada or both Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva and do not accept the poisition of Guru for themselves are our only shelter. They make our faith in and service to Srila Prabhuopada or both, strong and manifest in reality.
If a person does not understand that both Srila Gurudeva and Srila Prabhupada as well as the Vaisnava Acaryas before them are all slightly different manifestations of our eternal Sri Guru, the Sri Caitya Guru, they should beg, borrow or steal a copy of Sri Guru Nityananda Prabhu and His Divine Mercy Manifestations and read the articles by our predecessor Acaryas to understand and appreciate the most wonderful thing in the Universe. A read of Krishna Lingita Vigraha, One who is always embraced by Lord Krishna is hightly recommended as well.
