NEVER FALLS FROM VAIKUNTHA; Srila Prabhupada said, " ... generally no one leaves Vaikuntha, but if they want to, they can." So those who say one never falls, and those who say that of course we have free will and so can leave Goloka, both are correct; it is merely an angle of vision of the same things, but one party chooses to emphasize one angle or the other !

The question then arises; WHY would another great Vaisnava acarya purposefully write a book saying as title, " Not a leaf falls in Vaikuntha etc", knowing it will polarize and cause controversy? or, Why would an acarya actively fight against the GBCia, knowing it would stir up so much trouble on this very issue, which is actually no issue at all, merely shortsightedness? The explanations I can come up with, is that 1. both Srila Narayana Maharajaha and Srila Gour Govinda Swami, did not have a harmonized vision at the time, and/or wished to show that the GBCia are /were predominantly mere neophytes, who were deviating the Movement into some crazy directions nowadays called Itsacon Corps., and 2. that Krsna wanted to clearly demonstrate who has the deepest and broadest understanding of the spiritual realities; Srila Prabhupada, the master harmonist.
