Pawns On A Chess Board? Are We Being Herded Into Conflict?

(N.Morgan) Since 2009, the United States has seen nationwide a significant rise in civil unrest.

These protests against the injustices authorities continue to perpetuate on citizens have been marked by events that have left most people with deep concerns and fears.

Are these public displays planned and orchestrated as exercises meant to manipulate American citizens into defying established laws and taking personal action against local authorities?

A look at many of the national level protests, peaceful or violent, which have occurred since the Democrats have held the White House, tend to favor Thursday or Saturday as a starting point for their actions.

The other days of the week come up as hit-or-miss, and for the long-term protests, the media outlets will keep their cameras focused and hold vigil right along with all the citizens involved.

Perhaps the role of the media during these events is to spread the news to a broader audience, and incite groups from coast-to-coast.

April 30, 2015 (Thursday) – Nationwide protests and riots were taking place all across the United States, protesting the death of Freddie Gray; the separate incident and various cities reached over 22, each presenting a show of solidarity with Baltimore, Maryland

American citizens already know how the White House, with the support of the mainstream media outlets, will often bypass the facts of an event and try to focus the public’s attention on a legislative resolution.

In the tragic aftermath of a mass shooting on American soil, why does the government tend to ignore the true cost in lives and shattered families, choosing instead to focus public attention on the need for gun control?

With so many recent citizen gatherings and protests turning into actions which cause the government to call in the National Guard and establish curfews, perhaps the loss or at least curtailing of personal freedom is the ultimate goal of the authorities in these incidents.

Another could be having the media coverage instill fear in the citizenry, which could permanently open the door for government and their authorities to step in and dictate what is best in order to ‘protect’ all Americans.

Staring straight ahead, the future is looking more uncertain every day.
