ANAHEIM, Calif. - Demonstrators stormed a police department in Orange County, Calif., on Sunday to protest an officer-involved shooting that left an unarmed man dead and led to a violent clash between witnesses and police.
A crowd swarmed the Anaheim police headquarters' lobby as Chief John Welter held a news conference to discuss what happened the night before. The protesters chanted "no justice, no peace" and "cops, pigs, murderers" as officers stood by and watched.
Welter said two officers were placed on paid leave after one of them fatally shot 24-year-old Manuel Diaz.
He said the officers approached three men in an alleyway when they ran away. One of the officers chased Diaz to the front of an apartment complex where the shooting occurred.
Welter would not say what led the officer to shoot Diaz, citing an independent investigation by the county's district attorney office. Police said Diaz was a known gang member.
Mayor Tom Tait said he will ask the state attorney general to assist in the probe.
"Transparency is essential. Whatever the truth is, we will own it," Tait said.
The shooting sparked a melee in the neighbourhood as some threw rocks and bottles at officers who were securing the scene for investigators to collect evidence. Sgt. Bob Dunn, the department's spokesman, said that as officers detained an instigator, the crowd advanced on officers so they fired bean bags and pepper balls at them.
Video captured by a KCAL-TV crew showed a chaotic scene as some people ducked to the ground and others scattered screaming. A man is seen yelling at an officer even as a weapon is pointed at him; two adults huddled to shield a boy and girl. Meanwhile, a police dog charged at several people sitting on the grass, including a woman and a child in a stroller, before biting a man in the arm.
Dunn said the dog accidentally got out of a patrol car. He said he didn't know whether police warned the crowd to disperse before firing the rubber bullets and pepper balls.
Throughout the night, police in multiple marked and unmarked squad cars attempted to control an unruly crowd gathered near the shooting scene, the Orange County Register reported.
Some in the crowd moved a Dumpster into an intersection and set its trash on fire on at least three separate occasions, while officers kept responding to move it out of the way of traffic.
Tension between demonstrators and authorities continued Sunday night as crowds gathered near the shooting scene. A Dumpster was set on fire and moved into the street several times, requiring firefighters to come put out the flames and officers to move it out of the way.
Dunn said five people, two of them juveniles, were arrested during Saturday's unrest. He said gang detectives are involved in the investigation.
Crystal Ventura, a 17-year-old who witnessed the shooting, told the Register that the man had his back to the officer. Ventura said the man was shot in the buttocks area. The man then went down on his knees, she said, adding that he was struck by another bullet in the head. Ventura said another officer handcuffed the man, who by then was on the ground and not moving.
"They searched his pockets, and there was a hole in his head, and I saw blood on his face," Ventura told the newspaper.
Dunn said he could not comment on these allegations because the shooting is under investigation.
The other two men who ran away have not been captured, but police impounded their vehicle which was abandoned at the scene, Dunn said.
Cell phone video of the police assault shows a wall of officers in riot gear directing “non-lethal” fire at a group of unarmed and terrified civilians — including several small children, who were shielded by a man who appeared to be their father. Another officer unleashed a police dog, which immediately attacked a stroller containing an infant. A bystander who interposed himself — and was mauled by the dog for doing so — probably saved the child’s life.
Those acts, in which private citizens protected the innocent from criminal violence at the hands of the State’s armed servants, were just as heroic as those of the three men in Aurora who died protecting their girlfriends during the shooting rampage.
Local news accounts, which retailed the department’s version of events, described the crowd as “unruly” and the protest as a “near-riot” in which angry citizens “encircled” the officers and “began throwing things, including bottles and possibly rocks, at them,” in the words of a Los Angeles Times report. The police also claimed that “several fires” had been started in trashcans. None of those claims have been been corroborated by video evidence or eyewitnesses. Nor have the police explained why the police gunned down the young man, referred to only as “Stomper,” after he and two others fled when approached by the cops.
Immediately after the shooting, several residents confronted the police to demand answers. The Anaheim PD — sensing an ominous tremor of righteous outrage on the part of a neighborhood that has endured seven “officer-involved shootings” this year — reverted to type as an army of occupation: Within a matter of minutes, the unarmed protesters were outnumbered by heavily armed cops in body armor.
In the wake of the Aurora massacre, the public has been encouraged to believe that because of private gun ownership, every public gathering place can be transformed into the scene of a massacre. The Anaheim police rampage illustrates how quickly the State’s armed enforcement caste — which, according to “gun control” activists, should have a monopoly on firearms — can turn any neighborhood into an urban war zone.
- Its easy to understand; this is a conditioning procedure to train the people to do what they are told. T Thsn is gestapo, Stazi, totalitarian GSM in final phases of its demoniac take-over. The ultimate objective is population extermination in the FEMA camps. They are training up low-IQ thugs to do the killing when the time comes. For now, we are being trained to obey without question, the cops are being trained to be viscious dogs slathering for blood, so they will have no trouble executing people who resist the total slave take over by the Luciferians, after they have confiscated our weapons so we are defenseless, and destroyed the country.

CFR: Don’t Worry About Hillary’s Small Arms Treaty

July 22, 2012
The Council on Foreign Relations says you shouldn’t worry about the United Nations Small Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), which is currently being hammered out at the United Nations in New York.
“The treaty is limited to the international trade of conventional arms, which pertains to the buying, selling, transshipping, transferring, or loaning across borders,” Patrick writes. Instead of endangering the Second Amendment and the right to own firearms, “the treaty is primarily aimed at countries in which rigorous controls and oversight are absent, in an attempt to harmonize and coordinate standards worldwide.”
The CFR steers our attention to a March, 2012, document produced by the United Nations General Assembly stating that the treaty will “Prevent, combat and eradicate the illicit transfer, illicit production and illicit brokering of conventional arms and their diversion into the illicit market, including for use in transnational organized crime and terrorism” and does not impose restrictions on firearm ownership in the United States.
In fact, the treaty would have a significant impact not only on the ownership of firearms, but also national sovereignty.
Earlier this month, Larry Bell of Forbes spelled out the dangers of the ATT, specifically: the globalist treaty will force strict licensing requirements for firearms ownership; create an international gun registry; and mandate that all “unauthorized” firearms (including semi-automatic “assault” rifles) be confiscated and destroyed.
“In short, overriding our national sovereignty, and in the process, providing license for the federal government to assert preemptive powers over state regulatory powers guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment in addition to our Second Amendment rights,” Bell warns.
Since its inception, the United Nations has worked with gun control groups and NGOs. For instance, the UN teamed up with the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) in 1998. IANSA is as an umbrella network to which virtually all national and regional gun control groups belong. It is estimated to represent over 800 gun control organizations in 120 countries. IANSA opposes the use of firearms for self-defense and has worked to make the possession of handguns and semi-automatic weapons illegal. Not surprisingly, in addition to support from the United Nations, IANSA receives funding from the Ford Foundation (in other words, the CIA) and the Rockefeller Foundation.
In 2001, the UN held a conference on eliminating firearms in New York. “At an 11-day meeting beginning July 9 at U.N. headquarters in New York, every extremist anti-gun group in the world will show up at a summit on ‘small arms,’ where the delegates will attempt to create a global standard of gun control, banning civilian fire arms ownership worldwide,” NewsMax reported.
“The bottom line is that international gun banners want every gun – every single gun worldwide – to be under U.N. and government control,” warns LaPierre. “And that includes your rifle, your shotgun, your handgun, and even family heirlooms that have been handed down from generation to generation,” said the National Rifle Association’s Wayne LaPierre.
“The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system, and to make the U.S. an official part of it,” Dan Smoot, a former member of the FBI, explained shortly after the globalist organization was created in 1921. In order to do this and eliminate opposition, the CFR and the United Nations are working in tandem to establish a gun grabbing regime under the guise of stopping violence by terrorists and organized crime.
The CFR and others will naturally try to derail criticism of the ATT, but thanks to the alternative media the effort is meeting stiff resistance. Even factions of the corporate media are resisting the effort, as Fox News demonstrated on July 18 when it wrote:
