A culture which really delivers the human goods and stages of life, succeeds or continues, despite attempts to hijack that natural ecology and flow of human being using trauma and force. India is an example.
Sanatan dharma continues, the social underpinning, as it provides an adequate framework for a happier life, even though foreign influences have tried to stop it, to force the people to follow demonic cultures. Those outside forces have caused strife and poverty and over-population, along with technological implementation, enriching the controlling classes, and at first further impoverishing the poor. Over time, has general wealth improved, with industrialization ?
By scales of material wealth, India may have slowly improved, but loss of the sustaining sanatana dharma may yet lead to the sorts of perversions and mad policies currently wrecking the so-called 'more developed" lands, such as the USA. Thus, to me, it makes sense to encourage Santana Dharma widely, to keep the deep sustaining social roots and mores, rather than to drop them for Lord-knows-what ideologies.
