Some Hare Krsna devotees in a spirit of detachment still ask ; why should we care about worldy politics? The answer is that we shouldn't and we don't. However, the same politicians who arranged for Srila Prabhupada's martyrdom and the usurpation of our hopes and dreams, is still in place, and they will kill anyone who speaks truth such that will put the devotees and the people in general in positions of freedom. By murdering our spiritual master, the powers-that-be have unleashed the fury of the Lord, who is revealing the demons and taking them out.
Just as Arjuna at Kuruksetra, it is done by Sri Krsna, but he can fight and take some credit, that is the arrangements. Srila Prabhupada said that we should be involved in all things, including politics, as his desire is world revolution, not to create renunciants only. He also said that we should be most expert in all these fields of activity. Therefore, as the devotees in general have been disengaged in reality of this Earth planet, no varna ashrama etc., it has been necessary to discuss these things widely, with the ultimate aim of beating the Raksasas at their own games, and thus to establish safe and ongoing Krsna katha for us all, without our gurus being murdered, again.
Vaisnavism is coming out of the jungles and holy places to governing positions near you, by the Lord's own arrangements. If Srila Prabhupada had not been poisonned with arsenic by the GBC rascals, then we would likely never be aware of their evil twisted CIA-controlled characters, nor would arrangments be made to put real devotees in their places instead, unless we had been forced out of our complacency and naivete.
