They speak of multi-verses, and the idea that several dimensions and worlds exist simultaneously, going so far as to say that each action creates an individual new pathway in infinity, such that there are many worlds.
But I suggest we take it a step further. Posit this; each individual soul sees and experiences the world through the via-media of the Absolute Truth, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna. Godhead being the Prime Reality, the individual souls' relationship to That is the highest reality, the foundation-reality upon which all others exist.
That reality is our Home base, deep and as real, lovingly-merciful, family, and gloriously shiningly-eternal as it gets, and it is ours and God's alone, among all our relations.
There are thus as many "worlds" as there are individual souls; it is uncountable, certainly. Many of us can live on the same planet at the same time, but in the deeper sense, we all live in a world that is ours and is unique.
Even in micro-systems of human interaction, we see that people living in the same town have vastly differing ideas of what is reality, so it is expressed, like fractals, at every level. We are all the same, yet we are each one unique and eternal, and this is expressed at every level of reality we can enter. As above, so below, isavasyam idam sarvam, govindam adi purusam.
So, this is acintya bheda abheda tattva philosophy of Shri Krsna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, materially-inconceivable oneness and individuality simultaneously, eternally, as expressed in my own use of modern analogies.
