- Herein, we see how the disciple AP quoted sastra to back up a bogus understanding, then the Sri Guru Srila Prabhupada corrected him. The disciple argued on behalf of faith in an authority with rigid interpretation, but Srila Prabhupada spoke from philosophical purity and realization, superceding the bogus sastric understanding of the disciple.
The conclusion is that sastra can be written or heard or imagined by those with lower understandings than Srila Prabhupada and our succession, so do not be fooled into following authoritarian ass-kissers.
