Any time you happen to meet a real Hare Krsna Movement member, understand something, please. They have sacrificed their families, jobs, reputation, time, their last pennies, their romantic loves, everything, for the sake of serving Godhead. They surrendered everything they had or could have for the sake of finding love of God. The standard is absolute. So, reflect on this when criticizing a sincere Krsna devotee. No one else on Earth comes up to such standards, except a very rare few. That is why they cannot be defeated or stopped.
They agreed to no meat eating, no intoxication, no gambling, and no illicit sex. They rise early, keep clean, work all day, sleep sometimes not enough, study and memorize, preach, chant and pray and dance and sing, do their jobs, do temple rituals and astrology and healing duties, cook, do artwork, play instruments, distribute books, do temple and farm and street work, feed people, some sleep on the floor and renounce all normal pleasure as renunciants, others maintain their families and work incomes, etc. and thus in all stages of human life serve Godhead with sincere enthusiasm, 24 hours a day.
So, reflect on this when criticizing a sincere Krsna devotee. No one else on Earth comes up to such standards, except a very rare few. That is why they cannot be defeated or stopped.
