THE BRAHMANA PROJECT

'THE BRAHMANA PROJECT ; The Brahmana accepts a life of relative poverty and spiritual scholasticism, the better to set a good example and provide clear objective directions towards a better human order. In Krsna Book, charity was constantly being given to them, and they in turn distributed benefits also to others. I know of many brahmanas who receive never a penny in charity, yet they are living lives of dire poverty, illness, isolation. Why is this? Why are fools pouring their hard earned cash into the coffers of fat jet-set gurus living like kings while real kings are oppressed and treated less than dogs? This is madness! I am starting a list of poverty stricken and ill devotees who need help. More as we go along, but names may be submitted to Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON, SPIRITNET. Big donations are requested; we will need hundreds of thousands of dollars, a mere fraction of the millions blown on huge temples and put in the hands of Srila Prabhupada's murderers.'

    • Haribol Prabhu,

Thank you for your e-mail -- and thank you as well for the lovely message on your website.  You said it all -- and so eloquently too.  As I've said, you're a great writer and I love reading your work.  ISKCON lost so much talent for lack of properly engaging and encouraging its members.  Too bad the leaders never cared for the rank-and-file devotees because if they had, this movement could have spread like wildfire in so many creative and innovative ways.  Anyway, you're living proof that you can't keep a good man down -- not for long anyway.  The cream always rises to the top.

Yes, that's right.  They provide no money for food which is just plain insanity.  That's why there are so many street people around here nowadays.  (Can you imagine the constant stress level?  Extreme poverty breeds mental and emotional imbalance, what to speak of rapid physical decay.)  I figure it's no accident.  There's a method to their madness.  Every single day I see more and more writing on the wall.  Most people have no idea what's waiting for them just around the corner.  I wish there was somewhere to get to, but I can't see it.  There's no shelter anywhere it seems except in Prabhupada's lotus feet.  But there will be suffering ahead for one and all.  Even great devotees are persecuted and tortured by the raksasas of this godless kingdom.

Seems like they're more compassionate out there in Manitoba.  Who would have thunk?  Perhaps we're on the front lines over here.  Radiation from Fukushima has reached the shoreline.  The ocean floor here is covered in melted starfish bodies -- and the scientists say they have no idea why.  There are no sardines left.  Hundreds of dead seals and sea lions washed up along the west coast.  An oil spill in English Bay (Vancouver).  The earth rumbling periodically below us and off the coast on the sea floor.  Empty stores in the downtown core.  Homeless people begging and sleeping everywhere.  Long lines at the food banks and soup kitchens.  This once prosperous province is going down fast -- taking us all with it.  If my mother didn't need me here, I'd be off in a flash.  Is this my final resting place?  My grave site?

Sad to hear of your plight regarding groceries, no car, etc.  Must be a big struggle especially in long winter months.  Hope that somehow things will improve for you both.  Maybe your brother will have a change of heart and help you out?  Hope against hope, I guess.  I remember the three of us going to see "The Planet of the Apes" together one day at a cinema on Garry Street -- it may have been called the Garrick Theatre if memory serves me right (across from Eaton's next door to the old Metropolitan).  I was walking past a movie theatre awhile ago and I saw another Planet of the Apes movie advertised and I remembered that day in Winnipeg long ago.  I recall thinking that your brother seemed a lot more conservative than you!  Anyway, I know how it is.  My brother ..... Oh well, whatever will be will be.  At least he chanted Hare Krsna in his youth, so he's on his way.

Thanks for the info.  I appreciate it.  Actually, the situation is getting even bleaker by the minute with regards to the social safety net here -- it's full of holes, yet they're growing bigger and bigger.  They just announced a few days ago that once we turn 60 (in six months time for me), we each have to sign some paper work agreeing to less money, not more.  I don't think I'll make it to 65, to be honest.  Besides, I really don't think there will be such a social system -- or even a society as we know it -- existing by that date.  Personally, from my research, I think it's all going to blow in the next year or two.  I think what we've all feared is already here.  The final nail in the coffin is not if, but when.  The other shoe is going to drop and catch most people asleep and unaware.  The acceleration in the past couple of years has been unprecedented and mind-blowing.  These demons are like a kid in a candy store now.  The gluttony for power and control exceeds all limits.  They're drooling at the mouth in a devilish orgy of spiritual rebelliousness.  They can almost taste the blood now -- and they're enlivened by it, thrilled to the core.  But Krsna says, "Among weapons, I am the rod of chastisement."  So no one is going to get away with anything.  At one time -- with Prabhupada at the helm -- it seemed like we were going to stem the tide.  But sadly, I no longer feel it will happen that way.  I can only hope that the end comes quick and we go out chanting Hare Krsna on our lips or remembering Srila Prabhupada.  Sorry if I sound rather morose tonight, but I know you understand.  Fortunately, by Prabhupada's divine grace, we got our feet in the door before it's too late.

Yeah, I've tried the food banks.  Waited in long lines for a small bag of canned beans and spaghetti -- no real food at all, I'm afraid.  The cheapest junk imaginable -- stale bread, a bag of old gummy bears made in China.  The cupboards are bare, especially for the single men.  Old men who can't work are nothing but garbage in their eyes.  I see nothing but a desert wasteland ahead, a post-aopcalyptic vision of dead and dying bodies piled in heaps everywhere, along the sides of roads, in deep earthy pits.  Black crows and vultures circling overhead looking for sinews of meat -- dead or alive.  It's really come to this; it's perfectly clear.  The wages of sin.  A strong impetus to chant the holy names of Krsna and surrender our hearts -- right now, without delaying any longer.  Time is truly running short for us all on this earthly plane.

Yes, I fully agree with you.  What we once had in this country is gone.  There are some very smart demons at the top pulling the strings.  But Prabhupada once said that they think that they can trick Krsna, but one day they'll find out that Krsna can be the greatest trickster of them all.  Luckily, we're on the right side.

Thank you for listening and for your kind concern.  May Srila Prabhupada keep you safe in the shelter of his pink lotus feet.

      Ys,

      • Hare Krsna' Yes, distressing to hear what is going on out there in anti-lotus land. I'm shocked. I have been fighting with the local government and national also, for a better deal for the poorer classes in this scum bag of a elitist- controlled country. People are waking up, but the process is hampered by poverty and lack of facility to do anything much usefull to oust the rasksasas. We have purity of intent, but the demons have the spy machines, the money, the military, the world enslaved under maya brainwash.
Still, we are prepared to fight to the death. And thats not so far away! lol The old body cannot take stress etc like in past; it all takes a toll. What to speak of older people not having food and living on the streets; they will give up and die, probably thats the name of the globalist game.
Dont matter, material world always means abuse and corruption. Our timing was to help with the changes, and even if we do not save the world, we tried, so duty done.
The rich have so much, they could end poverty in two minutes, especially the Catholic Church, but the plan is much broader, ie Agenda 21 U.N. charter world depopulation. Its much worse, off world demons have given an ultimatum to reduce pop by 90% or they will do it 100%. Since then, we see increased nuclear war threats and pushing by the USA to start WW3. Ultimatum is there, so the weasels are running around with the gloves off and teeth bared now.
Thats funny re this movie; I dont remember that at all. Goes to show you that all material things are a chimera. Jim is acting like a selfish fool as always. Sorry re your brother, but as you say, he has chanted, so at least there is that. Everything about matter is a blind alley; we dont even remember everything correctly.
I am kind of at a point where i have been shouting about all this for a few years now, and getting burnt out, running out of words, it always seems to be trying to improve things and getting nowhere fast. However, many have taken to love of Godhead and if we helped at all, then that is something real.

"Krishna does not like to see His sincere devotee suffer or become frustrated or depressed.  He will not stand idly by in any such case, so do not fear on that account.  Krishna has got some plan for you, always think in that way, and very soon He will provide everything to your heart's desire."

(Srila Prabhupada letter, December 19, 1972)
  • Thank you -- you're too kind.  I've been on that waiting list for about 13 years now.  The line-up is so backed up that I've heard of 20 year waits and still no calls.  There is no solution with the gov't.  The idea behind all this hardship is so that you'll give up and go get a job or move back to Ontario (or wherever) and live with your parents.  Anything but stay here on benefits.  Any excuse they can find and they cut you off.  There's no security and that's the plan, man.

Now in some places in the States, you have to get a chip implanted if you want your monthly assistance.  No guff.  The poor, the elderly, the disabled, the mentally challenged -- these people, instead of being protected, are the first targets instead.  The UN Climate Chief just came out five days ago and said "we should do everything possible" to reduce the world's population.  It's out in the open now -- right on TV -- and they're not kidding.  They're starting with the most vulnerable:  60 million aborted babies so far in U.S., including almost 2,000 black babies a day.  Children are now vaccinated for some 50 diseases by the age of six.  Ingredients include aborted human embryo and lung tissue, formaldehyde, thimerosol (mercury), aluminum, polysorbate 80, chick embryo, calf skin derivatives, GMOs, monkey kidney cells, bovine extract, guinea pig extract, antibiotics, etc., etc., etc. -- and who knows what else?  Water contains fluoride, chlorine and hundreds of other chemical byproducts including pharmaceutical drugs like Prozac.  Herbicides, pesticides, GMOs in and on our foods.  200,000 painful and brain-damaging electric shock treatments a year to the depressed or mentally challenged.  Anti-depressants, antipsychotics overpresrcibed with horrible side-effects.  Chemtrails, radiation blah, blah, blah.  It's a wonder we're still standing.

The best thing, of course, would be to stop depending on the gov't.  It may run out abruptly one day anyway.  You go to the bank and without warning it's closed.  Your bank card no longer works.  No food on the grocery shelves.  Then what?  Anyway, you know the whole story.  Sorry to even mention it.  There's no sense in going over it all again and again.  But I mean to say that the war on the poor is just part of the overall big picture.  It's quite clear on this end what they're doing.  Middle-class folks don't notice yet.  But the guy on the street knows.  They do not want to pay out -- only extract.  We know the time will come when there are so many taxes and harassments, the people will have to flee to the forest (says Srimad-Bhagavatam).  Srila Prabhupada said millions of people will come to our farms looking for food and work.  It's easy to see it unfold when you're looking through the poverty lens.  When you have enough money to cushion the blows of life, there's no sense of urgency. So ultimately poverty can be a good thing, an eye-opener at least.

"I think it is good to remain financially poor because always we shall be able to pray Krishna, asking His help to execute His service.  If all of a sudden we become very strong financially, Maya may dictate us for sense enjoyment, and we may fall a prey to her tactics.  Therefore to remain poor is one of the qualifications for advancing in Krishna Consciousness."

(Srila Prabhupada letter, June 14, 1968)

But now that we know and have learned the hard way, it would be kind of nice to have enough to prepare, vamoose, or whatever.  But Krsna's in control, so whatever He ordains I'll accept.  I'm coming to peace with that.  (Do I really have any choice in the matter?)  The best thing (for me anyway) is to just keep trying to preach about Prabhupada and let all that stuff work itself out whichever way it's gonna go.

OK Prabhu, once again, no need to reply.  Apologies -- as you said, you're getting burnt out on all this.  It's just that I don't have anyone around here who will listen.  If you mention it, the tension in the air rises dramatically and they think you're crazy.  But I also need to move on and rise above to better topics and thoughts.  So that will be it for me in this regard.  Thanks again very much for your concern.  No easy answers, I'm afraid.  A thousand people a day downtown are in the same boat here -- and probably many more hidden away unseen, but suffering nonetheless.  Gotta chant loudly whenever and wherever I can.  Can't  lose hope because at least we have the ultimate answer and the only true way out of this hellish nightmare.  A wonderful miracle indeed.

Ok, so, i recall about a year ago looking into subsidized housing in BC, and they have it also. Contact the BC housing people. They will have a list of places. .. you then apply, and pay roughly 30% of your income for rent. they are apartments, not just rooms. You are old enough, one has to be 55 and up....

pls check asap and let me know what you find...
  • Padmapani said;
Thanks.  Will check it out.  Meanwhile, I had a devastating experience that I'll never forget with Tamal in 1977.  After the Bullock cart program and after the Mayapur festival, I traveled by train to Bombay.  Prabhupada was there, but his body was very sick and he rested a lot in his room.  Tamal was running around trying to find a brahmacari to clean the floors in Prabhupada's rooms while he rested. I naturally jumped at the chance, and was so excited to have such a golden opportunity.  My enthusiasm quickly went to hell when Tamal started to lay into me that I wasn't doing it right.  This guy went over the top, screaming at me and nit-picking every movement I made, despite that I was trying sincerely and not really doing anything wrong.  It was beyond belief in such a serene environment as Srila Prabhupada's holy room.  Anyway, I won't describe it in further detail now, but when I finally left, I had the unmistakeable conviction in my heart that this man is the biggest demon on the entire planet, bar none.  He had so much hatred in his eyes, his demeanor and his heart (if he even had one).  I'll never ever forget staring right into the dark abyss of his eyes.  What Srila Prabhupada had to endure and tolerate is absolutely inconceivable.  He has to be the greatest incarnation of Lord Nityananda's mercy who ever graced the planet.  This world is not deserving of such causeless mercy.  I'm still devastated in my heart when I think about that incident.  (Have you ever seen that black-and-white photo of Tamal giving Prabhupada the finger or hexxing him with some voodoo curse?  Oh God, it's terrible.  The look on Prabhupada's face is just heart-breaking.)     :(

I've never told anyone this story before, but it was one powerful experience.  Prabhupada predicted, "They may kill me also..."  He was right (as always) the great sinister movement had entered his society.  Yet he kept on pouring his mercy on the perpretrators and all humanity -- nay, all life forms on this planet.  JAYA SRILA PRABHUPADA!!!

I'm thinking there has to be a huge reaction to the offenses committed to Srila Prabhupada.  After all he did for everyone and that's the thanks he gets?  Uh uh, Krsna can't be very happy about that.  And ISKCON is still worshiping Tamal.  How in the world can they have his "samadhi" in the holy dhama?  This is beyond me.  What are they doing to Mayapur?   I can't help but think what is going to happen to that place, God forbid.

Why did we come here, Prabhu?  What puny enjoyment enticed us to accept living in this madhouse full of insatiable demons?  Whatever it was, it sure wasn't worth it!!

That year, 1977, was something though, I'll tell ya.  I also may never have told you that one evening I sat with Prabhupada in his tent at the Kumba Mela.  I sat silently and watched him talk and move and if was unbelievable.  I also saw how his leaders treated him one after another as they paraded in and out of the tent.  Another eye-opener.  Plus I went to a program with a car load of sannyasis in Allahabad and I was shocked by their behavior.  So in March of 1978 at the next Mayapur festival when they dragged those 11 vyasasanas into the temple room -- Prabhupada's temple room -- I knew it was all over.  I packed up, went to Delhi and then off to the Middle East.  Could not stand to see or hear about that charade.  Actually tried from the Middle East to do something about it, but was shot down by two GBC members and another "authority" at the time.  But that's another story.....

Jaya.  Thanks for listening.  Pray, pray, pray for the mercy -- we may not have much time or chance left.

We are currently under a plan used countless times on other planets of locking us down into controlled cages like pets in a zoo, remaking us into hybrids of their own designs, and keeping us enslaved for millenia as food, workers, sex toys, etc. This is not imagination. Google Hellyer or Greer. Those same nwo persons poisonned Srila Prabhupada. There is a struggle on now, over these reptileans, as other galactic races are at war with them. The Russians and possibly the Chinese have sided with the Nordic aliens, who are more demigod-like than the raksasa reptileans. Russian military recently acknolwedged receiving hi-tech weaponry from the Nordics, since then used to shut down USa aircraft carriers etc, demonstarting that the USa military is now useless. They have gone into hiding in EMP -proof Cheyenne Mtn, but all USA vehicles and weapons are subject to EMP-like devices tha can shut them down. The bad guys are panicking, as actions are being taken against them. There is a good chance we will succeed and remove the ultra rich and their overlords  by alliances with off worlders. Dont count on it too much though, as we the earth's inhabitants have to cooperatively remove the asuras.
  • Yeah, I know how it is.  As you may know, back in the 80's I published a magazine at great personal expense and struggle, sending it out free to devotees and temples worldwide -- hoping for positive change.  But I couldn't keep it up financially speaking for more than five (64-page) issues.  If only I had gotten some support -- same with Prabhupada Connect.  It always seems to feel like we're just lone wolves crying in the wilderness.  Anyway, I try to stay out of the fray nowadays in order to preserve any semblance of peace of mind (or heart).  Otherwise, I'd really end up dying a bitter old man!  Hang in there, by hook or by crook.  The alternative -- a life of no service or connection -- is too hellish to contemplate.  I know -- been there, done that.  Hari Hari bol!!!
