Tom Ryan Garrden Just try this; think hard on how Krsna IS US, He IS OUR SELF, not different. We are but eternally seperated aspects for sake of partners to dance with, one might say ! When Krsna is pleased, EVERYONE hooked in is also pleased ! We can also enjoy unlimitedly in our capacity, by bringing happiness to Krsna. He is our self. We are not different. When we please Krsna, we are pleasing our self, and when we realize this in full, then there is no more reservations and half-sharing, no. There is joyful eternal engagement in pleasing Krsna, and in turn finding complete perfect all-pleasing satisfaction in life, with great joy. It is not so hard to do. We were MADE to do this !
- Only a fallen fanatic soul is required to engage in severe austerities. Krsna did not create us to suffer, but if we take up such voluntary self-discipline for sake of spiritual advancement, Krsna may be mildly amused by such antics and bless us. Otherwise, we should take life naturally enjoying the natural things which we naturally meet in course of our service. One does not have to sweat in regards to these 4 regs etc., just follow them and chant and soon everything rises into a higher spiritual state. One then makes good progress by steadiness of service and mindfulness.
