The REAL REASON that some devotees do not like ritvik diksha to Srila Prabhupada, is that they realize that nobody can compete. Because they have some political affiliation with those attempting to set themselves up as great Gooroos, they perceive that Srila Prabhupada is unbeatable competition. Therefore, they say any damn thing to try to belittle Srila Prabhupada's arrangements in order to usurp his exalted mission and position, instead of surrendering to the Sri Jagad-guru and cooperating with his followers in fulfilling his mission..
They are not content with being servants of Srila Prabhupada, they want to themselves or for their leader to be Srila Prabhupada, to replace him, as they take it as a spiritual business, and want as many customers to swell their ranks and coffers as possible. They do not think what is best for all of us, but what is best for themself and their followers.
