The Vedas do not promote being passive with enemies
Below you you will every mention in the Rig Veda of the word “enemy”, every single verse advocates completely destroying the foes of Hinduism, not one mentions being passive or lenient.
“O Agni, radiant One, to whom the holy oil is poured, burn up Our enemies whom fiends protect.” – Rig Veda 1.12.5
“The God whom enemies threaten not, nor those who tyrannize o’er men, Nor those whose minds are bent on wrong.” – Rig Veda 1.25.14
“Fierce on his enemies fell Indra’s weapon: with. his sharp bull he rent their forts in pieces. He with his thunderbolt dealt blows on Vrtra; and conquered, executing all his purpose.” – Rig Veda 1.33.13
“Come, O Nasatyas, with the thrice-eleven Gods; come, O ye Asvins, to the drinking of the meath. Make long our days of life, and wipe out all our sins: ward off our enemies; be with us evermore.” – Rig Veda 1.34.11
