What is POWER ?
What is POWER ? It is the ability to create, maintain, and transform or destroy. In Kali yuga, everyone's power is so much damped, that such things as mystic powers etc are rarely seen, though still exist.
Alchemy is about the power to transform, to take a base metal and transform it into a noble metal, like gold. Moreso, if one can transform the highest thing, then, one's magic is higher, also. This is spiritual alchemy.
Arguably, the soul is the highest thing in God's creation. HDG A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada transformed many low vessels, with no sense of proper direction, ie we the people, from every diverse situation, from all over this planet, into devoted servants of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna / Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Godhead, demonstrating that he was the greatest, most powerful magician and highest among alchemists.
