So Garuda was accustomed to taking non vegetrain foods. This shows that vegetrianism is for humans, not necessarily for all Vaisnavas !
Always the theme of poison keeps popping up ! I suppose one could say that there was an original poisonous desire which led to our spiritual deaths and incarceration in matter, the tombs, as it were! Always more intake of poisonous karmically laden foods, drugs, medicines from atheist doctors, so eliminating this poison from our systems is both healthy and uplifting.
Rather fond of eating serpents, as it turns out.
