1 kirtana ecstasy; Maharajah standing at the front of a kirtana hall packed with devotees; me in very back; I felt divine ecstasy; Maharajah turned and looked me right in the eyes as if he could also see and feel it. i was brand new, nobody.
2 short cut; The brahmacary ashrama had a messy muddy boot storage place, and one could if he wanted, sneak behind the altar and come out the door on the other side avoiding the mess. It was not allowed. I never did that. The one time i did, Maharajah, who visited us rarely, was standing there smiling. He almost never visited the ashrama.
3 mud fight; I was part of a team constructing mud houses. Everything was fine day after day. Maharajah never visited us. The one time an argument broke out, instantly there was Maharajah to quell it, as if Supersoul brought him there precisely at that one moment.
4 obeisances; In kumbah mela, Prayaga India, i saw Maharajah sitting , and from a distance from behind him, such that he could not see, i did not want him to have to offer obeisances in reciprocation, so i did so from behind a tent where i could not be seen. Upon getting up and rounding the corner, there he was offering obeisances to me.
I lived in one of the small cabins along the hillside up at the brahmacary ashrama, circa 1972-74. I remember the plastic-sheet lined reservoir across from the main temple where we took bath in the morning, but that was 71 or 72, when i first visited there.
The top picture was the main barn across from the main temple, right? The bathing pond was a few hundred yards away. We might have met each other at that year somewhere there? There were a limited number of devotees. Kirtana was great for me, i had powerful mystic experiences that are hard to explain; i could see the unity of god's Being in all things, was in ecstasy several times.
Radhanatha stayed at the bramacary ashrama. I have many stories to tell. Kirtanananda Swami had mystic power, i saw it firsthand. I will describe some, as it reminded me...next comment
