ok....some are a little "shaky" but he point is,they are mostly concepts for the Paramatma that dictates the wanderings of all living entities....it occured to me one day (while watching a nature programme) when the narrator said "the animals instincts "....the this is another name for the Supersoul.....i'd be interested to hear your opinions and views on this subject....and more concepts/names is you've got them
"As they surrender unto Me, I rewards them accordingly" This same Supersoul exists in three features, brahmeti paramatmeti bhagavan iti sabdhyate, from lesser to more personal. This Supreme Being is known by infinite Names and pastimes. Some souls are closer to Him, talk to Him, some are impersonally seperated, and see Him as an all-pervading power, but all are maintained by the same Supreme Controller.
Oversoul,
Higher Self,
There are many terms used to portray this notion of God in your heart. Many mistakenly imply that the self of jiva is equal to the Supersoul when liberated, and although this is not exactly the case, but at least they are correct in the essential identification of the eternal and quinessential unity of the soul and the Source, Godhead.
Whether South American or Indian etc, most cultures have a term for this mystic realization of the accompanying Godhead who is our innermost friend and associate, and who knows us better than we ourselves do, and Who resides roughly in the area of the heart. There is a univerality of this realization suggestive that indeed, this is true religion.
Do the animals have a sense of the Divine? Do they have any sense of the Supersoul ? For example, do the flowers in their heart of hearts worship the Sungod ? Do whales exult in the awareness of Life? Would not an alien entity, realizing the universality of Supersoul, come to treat all other beings with some respect and dignity? This is a universal spirituality that does not depend entirely upon local words or culture.
Having been kidnapped by Lord Brahma, the cowherd boys were temporarily absent. However, Krsna expanded Himselef as all the cowherd boys. The parents found they were even more attached now to their offspring than ever before! So, although the jivas are wonderful expansions of the Supreme Godhead, yet He is the summum bonnum, the original source, and is all attractive, thus more than the jivas. Supersoul is the sum and substance, atma-rama, self -satisfied, while the jivas existence weighs upon Him. Sarva karana karanam, cause of all causes.
As tiny seperated Causes, we are a fractional portion of the original Cause.
