In a Dec 31 1976 press interview, Srila Prabhupada explained:
"We never compromise. All my students, they will never compromise. Why shall I compromise? If I am confident that I am speaking the truth, why shall I make compromise? Those who are not confident of his position, they will make compromise. One who does not know where he stands, he will make compromise. And if I know where I am standing, why shall I make compromise? Let others do whatever he likes. This is our position."
-Tdasa; We know of aliens from Srimad Bhagavatam, and we know that Hiranyakasipu and other asuras ruled the universe during periods of history, and we also know of subterranean-world reptilena civilizations who are space-faring and have hugely advanced technologies, so there is ample historical precedent to the current theories of tyrrany, that which we see in this crazy planet today...
Surely, we devotees know that Krsna is the Supreme Being, and that we are eternal spirit associates servants of servants of servants of the Lord. We know there is a fight in the material world, devotees and demons, and that Sri Krsna support the devotees. So, let us fight evil with the knowledge and the Holy Names given to us, and act on His missions' behalf.
Srila Prabhupada described the Great Sinister Movement, and told us of a handful of men who ruled the world in their demoniac way. At any rate, clearly there is a great need for salvation for the common man in our times. Srila Prabhupada concerned himself with the well-being of all beings, and urged us to creat a daivi-varna-ashrama society to deliver all, including even the animals.
Here at spi, we never compromise away Srila Prabhupada's clear directions and teachings.
In a letter to Brahmananda, September 9th, 1969 Srila Prabhupada wrote:
"Our point should be that we shall take all steps for self-protection, depending on the results on Krsna. We should NOT idly sit down simply depending on Krsna. Arjuna had to fight in the battlefield, but at the same time he heard Bhagavat Gita. Our Motto shall be like that! Neither we shall fight alone, without Krsna consciousness, nor we shall give up all possible facillities".

- Tdasa; Some try to say simply chant and depend upon the Lord, but our spiritual master tells us to do our duty, chant, and depend on the Lord. We must act according to our best knowledge and skills and ability, to further the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. To do otherwise, is to be in that degree of maya. He does not tell US, his followers, to sit peacefully and chant 64 rounds, and do quiet bhajana, as our mainstay in this world.
Rather, as Prabhupada's men, we are told to act in such a fashion, as acaryas, setting examples, such as to really help save the world from evil, to actively preach as we can, to work and support and guide our families, to serve, and not to pretend to be such advanced devotees we can clear all the perils of life, for all of us, devotees and innocents and non-devotees alike, merely by our sadhana of japa. Would that we were all so pure, and could do so. If we could, we would have done so already. We have to also do our various sankirtana activities to help others.
.
"So to us everything material, without connection to Krsna, is to be rejected as stool,..." Srila Prabhupada, letter May 20, 1976.
