Can anyone help me with this.

A devotee may have experiences that are very profound, even darshan with divine beings.

Such as, Lord Sri Paramatma, Lord Sri Shiva, Narada Muni  Prabhu or even Sri  Mohini murti,

We may be seated by a person who is in deepest bliss, and we can only wonder what is their realization.

So,how does a person share such blissful states with others?

In the Vaisnava line, there does not appear any Shaktiput going on, but then again, even a grain of rice from the masters plate with give immense benefit  ( shaktiput is a transmission of power via touch ]

In a nutshell, how much can a devotee reveal about deep realizations  with others.

Someone could say all sorts of crazy stuff, like they were at Lord Indra's last week,,, or Lord Brahma and her were talking once.

When living in the Melbourne Temple in 1978, there was a nice devotee, who over time believed Srila Prabhupad was communication via the dog to him.

Sadly, he passed away a few months later.

It may or may not be true.?

There would come a point were one would have to decide, if the person was a great mahatma, or completely mad.

I have personally not been so fortunate in this regard, but it would be nice to share realizations with other devotees, without feeling I may be considered  a sahaja,  mayavadi ,great Mystic, or delusional.

Personally, it is whatever reminds one of the Lord, we should accept.

Also, the devotees of the Lord derive great bliss and satisfaction enlightening one and other and conversing about him. B.G

If anyone has any interest in sharing any deep realizations or visions ,without fear of ridicule, that may be nice.

  • Montreal Temple has gotten into a very bad habit of letting the Bengali pujaris take all the maha-sweets and sell it to toursits visiting the temple. Thus, the temple devotees are deprived.

I like my sweets. One evening, i fell asleep, and dreamed that I was in the prasadam hall, and the table was covered with all kinds of goodies! Awakening, now feeling like some prasadam, with such a good omen, I went up stairs to the prasadam hall, and there was my Godbrother sitting alone before a table covered in cookies, cakes, and all manner of sweets!

Often in Temple life daily miracles occur.

    Laughing, I joined him.

  • One devotee friend back in Melbourne was so addicted to the Maha sweets, that the Temple President had to put a huge lock on the Maha cupboard, because the sweets were all gone by 5.30 am each day.

The famous Kurma Das was the head cook at this time.

I had the responsibility to open the locked door around 6 am each day,so the devotee;s would not remove the door by force.

This particular morning, while chanting japa in the temple room, my good friend Kamala Kanta das, was no where to be found.

Perhaps the restriction on the Maha was too much for him, forcing him to find  sweetness elsewhere.

Even with the big lock, the maha was still being plundered from behind locked doors.

    No one could understand.

So, on this day, as the lock was removed , as the door swung opened, The group of waiting devotee's were surprised to see Kamala Kanta's head hanging upside down from the ceiling, inside the cupboard.

He had removed part of the ceiling , climbed through the rafters, lowering himself down headfirst into the cupboard, escaping via the same method.

Unfortunately, this day, the rafters had let go and he fell headfirst into the cupboard, with no chance of freeing himself.

He had been hanging in there for about two hours, waiting for someone to open the cupboard, and let him out.

So funny to hear him pleading,"don't tell anyone"

It was made into a feature story at the next class, the Maha thief had been caught red handed..

  • For real??

  • This was one of the funniest days I remember, I was the one who opened the cupboard door, like a broom cupboard converted.

The padlock was undone, and the chain freed.

Open the doors , and presto,

Mataji devotees with their children eager to get the sweets, totaly freaked out when they see an upside down head, asking us not to tell Balarama,   {the temple president at that time]

There was also the situation that he had access to the Maha, but could not get his hands to his mouth, so he could just smell it, while hanging out in the cupboard.

It was a little like opening the cupboard , and Rahu starts talking to you.
