The recent death of an American hostage who was killed, Kayla Mueller, was a practicing devotee.
Ys Kuladri das
Ernest Hemmingway wrote the following: "The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable; they are often wounded, sometimes destroyed."
Kayla prabhu from what little was sent by other devotees to me, due to her compassion for other people in situations of suffering, was obviously possessed of these qualities.
This is what Benjamin Franklin stated: "Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are."
Srila Prabhupada spoke the following in His May 30, 1966 BT 3.21-25 lecture in regards to what constitutes violence:
Srila Prabhupāda: "So I spoke that violence means to check a person from the discharge of his duties. That is violence. That was my viewpoint."
Devotee: "To interfere with another's course."
Srila Prabhupāda: "Yes. Now, every man has got his prime duty of life. If that duty is checked, that is violence. So I wanted to place, and that is a fact from Vedic literature, that human life is meant for realization of God consciousness or reestablishing his relationship, lost relationship, with God. This is the claim of every human being. Human being... I have several times explained to you. The human being is distinct from animal life in this way, that animal, they do not know what is the aim of life. The human life is meant for realizing, self-realization. If any civilization, that is checking people's progress in the matter of self-realization, that is the most virulent type of violence because people are being checked from the natural advancement of life. This human life is the point when one has to end all the miseries of material existence. That is the aim of human life. If people are not educated to that light, if people are misled in other ways, that is the greatest violence committed to the population. And according to the scripture, they are called ātma-han. Ātma-han means the greatest violence committed to the population. And according to the scripture, they are called ātma-han. Ātma-han means suicidal, suiciding.
"There is a nice verse that just like this material world is accepted as a great ocean. Now, to cross over a great Atlantic Ocean from New York to, I mean to say, Portugal... Just like Columbus came. Now we have got great big ships, but he had to face many dangers. Just it is very difficult to cross over the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, but if you have got a very good vehicle, ship or anything else, you can very nicely cross over, similarly, the example is given that this material life is a great ocean, and this human body is a good boat. This human body is a good boat for crossing this ocean. And the spiritual master is a good captain. You see? And the instruction of Lord Kṛṣṇa, or a similar instruction, Vedic instruction, are favorable wind. Just like if you want to cross the Atlantic Ocean from New York, if the wind is blowing westward, then your journey becomes very favorable. So the favorable wind is blowing by this instruction of the Vedas, and there are many stalwart ācāryas who are just like the captain, and this human body is just like a good ship.
"Now, the living soul who is seated in such a favorable condition, if he does not cross over the material ocean, then he is making suicide. He is making suicide. Saeva ātma-han. So we have to take advantage. We have to take advantage of this favorable condition to end this miserable material existence. And if anyone does not take the advantage, then he is committing suicide. That is the version of Bhāgavata. Or... Either he is personally committing suicide or any civilization which is checking this process, that is also violent, the most virulent type of violence, because people are misled. So this is the idea of the scriptures, that human life should be utilized only for spiritual self-realization."
In regard to Srila Prabhupada's explanation above, the ISKCON GBC is DIRECTLY!!! RESPONSIBLE!!! for COMMITTING VIOLENCE!!! against Srila Prabhupada, (besides the other reasons), for causing DESTRUCTION!!! to the explicitly expressed aims and purposes Srila Prabhupada set and DIRECT INSTRUCTIONS given by Srila Prabhupada for HIS ISKCON), and the GBC's causing VIOLENCE!!! to the lives of ALL!!! the devotees to whom ALL!!! the GBC people have caused INTERFERENCE, in regard to the practices of Krsna consciousness in their lives on ALL!!! of the levels YOU GBC people have done so.
May all of you GBC people at some point WAKE!!! UP!!!, clean up the MESS!!! ALL!!! of you have made, [in concern for getting big money to fill your pockets and bank accounts, getting name, position and power, etc.***] STOP!!! ALL!!! of your VIOLENCE!!! and BRING BACK those devotees into SRILA PRABHUPADA'S!!! ISKCON SOCIETY who were SERIOUSLY!!! FOLLOWING!!! SRILA PRABHUPADA'S!!! aims, desires, and expressed instructions - these devotees who ALL!!! of the GBC have been DIRECTLY!!! RESPONSIBLE!!! for the exit of such devotees.
*** All of these things are MATERIALISTIC!!! STOOL!!!
Here are some other quotes from Srila Prabhupada:
Srila Prabhupada in a May 17, 1975 morning walk:
“Regarding the position of a person who does not speak even when he knows the truth: jani saksi nahi deya tara papa haya. 'A person who knows things as they are and still does not bear witness becomes involved in sinful activities'.”
SB 4.8.5 Purport
"Malam means: 'contamination'. We should learn to despise all the causes of devastation, beginning from irreligion and cheating, and then we shall be able to make advancement in a life of piety."
And if these aren't enough, here are a few more from SB, and Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur
SB 10.44.9,10
"Religious principles have certainly been violated in this assembly. One should not remain for even a moment in a place where irreligion is flourishing. A wise person should not enter an assembly if he knows the participants there are committing acts of impropriety. And if, having entered such an assembly, he fails to speak the truth, speaks falsely or pleads ignorance, he will certainly incur sin."
Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur:Patrikara Uddesya, Sajjana Tosani:"In the name of bhakti in many places people are engaged in illicit or anti-bhakti activities in the name of practicing bhakti. If one does not expose those issues (cases) very clearly, then pure bhakti will never be victorious or be established."Bheka Dharana, Sajjana Tosani."One should compulsorily engage in endeavoring to trying to uplift the Vaisnava Dharma from the mud of contamination and trying to free it from all kinds of dauratmya (wrong ideas and practices)."
From Srila Prabhupada's Jun 4, 1974 SB 1.13.15 lecture (Yamaraja/GBC)
Yamarāja is one of the GBC of Kṛṣṇa. Yes. As we have got twelve GBC's, similarly Kṛṣṇa has got GBC's. Now,
svayambhūr nāradaḥ śambhuḥ
kumāraḥ kapilo manuḥ
prahlādo janako bhīṣmo
balir vaiyāsakir vayam
[SB 6.3.20]
kumāraḥ kapilo manuḥ
prahlādo janako bhīṣmo
balir vaiyāsakir vayam
[SB 6.3.20]
That twelve men are authorized to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness. So we have to follow. Mahājano yena gataḥ sa panthāḥ. Therefore we have created these GBC. So they should be very responsible men. Otherwise, they will be punished. They will be punished to become a śūdra. Although Yamarāja is a GBC, but he made a little mistake. He was punished to become a śūdra. So those who are GBC's, they should be very, very careful to administer the business of ISKCON. Otherwise they will be punished. As the post is very great, similarly, the punishment is also very great. That is the difficulty. You can see from this example, Vidura. He was immediately punished. He did little mistake at Maṇḍūka...
And here is this from someone who isn't a "Hare Krsna":
Edmond Burke: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
Kuladri Das, Srila Prabhupada directly asked you to get Him away from those who were doing evil, but INSTEAD!!! you have JOINED!!! them.
Though my words sound harsh, it is with love - caring for you - that I write them, with HOPES!!! that you will WAKE!!! UP!!!, (and will TRY!!! to wake your GBC Godsiblings, AND, if you can't wake them up, at least WAKE YOURSELF UP AND GET AWAY from their pack!!!)
I might add on: Pretty amazing that it takes the DEATH!!! (MURDER!!!) of a devotee to get us out to perform the Yuga Dharma. "Therefore the Hare Krishnas from WV (New Vrindaban) will be coming up to chant and dance on the street corner."
It might have been possible that had the ISKCON GBC NEVER gotten RID of the serious devotees, and the devotees had been performing nagar Sankirtan during these so many years, there might NOT!!! have even been an ISIS.
Your servant,

We are all moved to tears yet again by the sacrifices made by our fellow servants. No doubt she is with Radha Krsna now.
And people wonder why I tend to think it necessary to take out the asuras ; it is because they keep killing our devotees.
