ELEVEN BEAUTIFUL VYASASANAS PREPARED BEFORE PRABHUPADA PASSED AWAY?-Nadia das was one of the brave members of the Nama Hatta Sankirtan group of Yasodanandana and Gurukripa who raised most of the funds to build ISKCON's Vrindaban Krishna Balarama Mandir, ISKCON temple complex on Mumbai's Juhu beach and residential neighbourhoods from "long wall" of ISKCON at Mayapur. Years later, Yasodanandana met Nadia again and remembered old times. Nadia told Yasodanandana about an unforgettable incident, what it was like being at ISKCON Mayapur in August 1977, before Srila Prabhupada left for London. He saw an unusual truck delivering to the ISKCON complex precious woods and many expensive rolls of fine brocade fabric. Nadia asked Bhavananda, the Mayapur project director, what were those high-quality materials for, and he replied: "Let's build eleven Vyasasanas for the new gurus!" ”. It wasn't until March of the next year that Nadia could understand what that meant, but by then he could no longer do or say anything that made any difference. This happened maybe three months BEFORE Srila Prabhupada’s departure, and implies that Bhavananda and others of the eleven “appointed ritviks” had already made plans for her graduation from gurus ritviks to full gurus/acharyas. If this story is accurate, and there are little reason to doubt the accuracy of this account, it confirms the conspiracy to take power. And there's lots of other proofs. Of course, the use of conspiracy terminology is currently underrated, and the first reaction was often to reject any idea of “conspiracy,” even before fact-checking. However, conspiracies are a very common feature of material life, so common, that it is difficult to recognize them even when they are right under our noses. The word collusion is also appropriate in this case. Srila Prabhupada himself used the word conspiracy in relation to his ambitious disciples.CONSPIRACY: An agreement to carry out an illegal, treacherous or evil act together. COLLUSION: Secret agreement between people, usually with the intent to defraud others. "(The hidden glories of Srila Prabhupada 1.517)Ys, JJd·Hide original·Rate this translation
