We do not buy the silly materialistic notion of the soul having a begginning in some void as if in eternity things have a begginning and an end. That is merely an explanation given to those who cannot grasp eternity and who yet demand to grasp something somehow that their minds can accept. Never falling from Goloka means there is no free will, and without free will, there is no such thing as love.
Lord Krsna said, "NEVER was there a time when i did not exist nor you..." So right from Gita, the tatastha origin theory is kicked out as speculation for the weak-minded.
"Here, the real problem is we want to get out of this material conditional life. We are spirit soul. We are not matter. But in order to enjoy this material world we have come here. Every one of us who is existing within this material world has a desire to lord it over the material nature. It is said when a living entity, a part and parcel of God, he desires independently to enjoy or to lord it over the material nature, he comes down from the spiritual world to this material world.
