All glories to the lotus feet of His Divine Grace Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.
The problem is that the real eternal guru resides in our heart life after life. When He self-manifests before us and we 1.deny He can do that again after Srila Prabhupada or 2. can not do it in a form we don't recognise with our external visison or 3.think we are the self manifested Acarya (we are God, last snare of Maya) or 4. accept an unqualified pretender, we lose out. True many deserve this because they want to be cheated and Lord Krishna fullfills their desire. If they do not make Vaisnava Aparadha, slowly they will be directed to the potent external manifestation of Sri Krishna in His form of Sri Guru Nityananda Prabhu and His Divine Manifestations.
Our Srila Guru appears so we can offer love and service to Him in His external form as well as His Sri Murthi, His sound form and His instruction form, and after purification, ultimately in His form televised into our heart. How will it be possible to catch the lotus feet of Sri Krishna, since Sri Guru and Sri Guru alone is the One who introduces us to Him and advocates on our unworthy behalf?
Success in Kali yuga is only through Guru Kripa program, none of us will get far trying to reach the Moon by our own tiny power. As Srila Prabhupada likes to say, Just because there is fake currency doesn't mean there is no real currency.
Parampara means the knowledge and authorizated function is passed down from one Sri Guru to the next. Srila Prabhupada glorifies the Sri Guru Parampara. It is impossible that there is not one Moon after Srila Prabhupada. " We are not talking of Sri Gurus in the other Sampradayas, We are speaking of Sri Guru in the Sri Brahma Gaudiya Madva sampradaya.
There is a wealth of knowledge about the glories of Sri Guru online but ISCON does not bother to teach the tattva since knowledge of it would surely subtract from their own following and prestige. So, promote? Not likely but the leaders should have selected Him from among themselves. He is not a jiva soul, he is a the Divine Mercy Manifestation of Lord Nityananda " No jiva can be the medium of the service of the Absolute to another jiva. The Absolute alone may communicate His service to the separable constituents of Himself. This is the real nature of the function of the guru.
But Nityananda does not directly instruct in the confidential service of Krishna. Shrimati Radhika is the guru of the inner circle of the servants of Krishna. Shrimati Radhika, however, accepts the offer of service of only those souls who are specially favored by Nityananda and are deemed by Him to be fit for Her service. Faithful worship of His Divine Grace Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada and sincere prayer will eventually reveal the Truth. Sometimes devoteess think we know everything but to catch the lotus feet of Sri Guru in His successive forms means to become more purified and understand more and more without losing the connection to Srila Prabhupada by even the tinyest amount. It's like worshipping one from of Lord Jagannath in your local Temple then seeing Him at Puri Rathyatra. Same Lord, but different taste, understanding and engagement. Hare Krishna.
