I read with tears what you've sent about SGGM. I hope you are writing a book in this regard, and that this is an excerpt from it.
I heard ONLY a FEW seconds of someone's playing a tape of SGGM. This was in Jan 1996. SGGM was shouting, "ANANTA, WHY ARE YOU IN MAAAAAAYAAAAAAA!!!???" I thought to myself, "WHO IS THAT??? He's a PURE devotee!!!," and I wanted to give up everything and go to that person and surrender to him. I found out the name of the speaker, and where to "find" him, so I wrote a letter to him.
This quote is to demonstrate that other well known devotees also see Gour Govinda Swami as a Mahabhagavata. The ritviks try to make so many accusations against him; all nonsense from the fertile imagination of Puranjana, PADA the madman. We are almost the only site in the devotee world that is properly respecting GGS.
Radha Govinda Swami is a rare soul who has almost exactly the same understandings on Vaisnava dharma and topics and performs a similar function to us at this site. She is one of the few who has had enough interaction to understand GGS for who he is, and this quote serves to reinforce the exalted status of Maharajah even as seen by other sannyasis.
Perhaps you are unaware of the flak and attacks I have taken on account of glorifying this pure devotee. The ritviks acuse me of all sorts of deviation including child abuse, because I support GGS. They say because he took his guru entitlement under bogus I$kcon while Bhavananada was there, therefore GGS is a child abuser, and so am I, because I support GGS ! This is the extent of their offensive madness, and is the reason for existence of this site. We are here without offense to Maharajah, the offenders will certainly all fall down badly. Not wanting Srila Prabhupada's movement destroyed by either hard ritivks or demoniac GBCs, we were obliged to start this site, even if we are unqualified and of low consicousness.
The hards ritivks said to me, "Go start your own site" , so here we are on the order of the ritviks.

SRI DURGA DEVI appeared to GGM in HIS room in BHUVANESVAR and told HIM," so at last you got rid of me !" then SHE left. HH GGM called a devotee and told him, "call that girl that just left my room." - but that devotee could not find HER anywhere anymore.
i considered myself lucky to had the chance to know who the real devotees are after SRILA PRABHUPADA, never mind we can still get the mercy of HDG GGM HDG ACBSP in vani seva not in vapu , i think is better also because there is not the danger to offend the pure devotees of the lord by take THEM as ordinary people..."
