Residents of Goloka have all mystic powers, and can manifest entire universes to serve each other with love and humbleness. Yet, generally they do not want to take service from the others, whom they respect so highly. Instead, everyone has a pastime and duties, and thus things go on very happily and nicely, all devotees focusing in unison, on devotional service of Sri Sri Radha Govinda. To serve Krsna is to serve All...

Drug addicts seek love, security, amusement, and thus relief from material pain. A positive alternative is available; ie Krsna consciousness. Eternal love and dignified service is available, so the self identity can be healed. Intoxicators are seeking their constitutional position, though they do not usually know what is driving them. Intoxication is good, look at the intoxicated activities of those in Krsna and Mahaprabhu's pastimes; but that intoxication is natural, not artificial. Taking earthly intoxicants can bind one to temporary things, as well as create poverty ,crime, illness, and social troubles. Try to avoid them, take to chanting hare krsna and be vegetarian. Certainly never drink alcohol. So many lives are ruined due to that demonic assault. You will find a much better life if you can find spiritual happiness, and a good destination.

Prabhupada " Then why do you love the soul? Because it is part and parcel of Kṛṣṇa. Therefore we love the soul. So ultimately, the love goes to Kṛṣṇa. This is natural feeling of love between Kṛṣṇa, or God, and between living entities, but the māyā is interrupting the relation. It is called illusion. The process of interruption is called illusion. Otherwise we, every one of us, we love Kṛṣṇa. Every one of us. You analyze, you see that ultimately goes to Kṛṣṇa. Therefore in the Caitanya-caritāmṛta it is said that nitya-siddha kṛṣṇa-bhakti: "The loving attitude of the living entity towards Kṛṣṇa is nitya-siddha." That is eternally fact. Not that we are preaching Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, artificially we are creating some situation that a person may love Kṛṣṇa. No. That is not. That is not fact. We are cleansing the process which has covered our kṛṣṇa-bhakti. Śravaṇādi-śuddha-citte karaye udaya (CC Madhya 22.107). The love for Kṛṣṇa is there

This madhurya-rati is of three kinds: (1) sadharani [attachment wherein one’s own personal enjoyment is present], (2) samanjasa [attachment wherein both one’s personal enjoyment and the desire to please Sri Krsna are equally present], and (3) samartha [attachment wherein only the desire to please Krsna is present]. The sadharani-madhurya-rati found in Kubja is like an ordinary gemstone. The royal queens of Dvaraka, beginning with Rukmini, are possessed of samanjasa-madhurya-rati. This is compared to cintamani or touchstone. The gopis of Vraja are possessed of samartha-madhurya-rati, and this is compared to the Kaustubha jewel.

That attachment which has of its design and intent one’s own personal enjoyment is called sadharani. That attachment, which has as its purpose the enjoyment that accr
