9468769498?profile=originalReal bhakti… that is raganuga-bhakti. This raganuga-bhakti, we have to come after surpassing the vaidhi-bhakti [regulative process]. In the material world, if we do not try to make further and further progress in devotional service, if we are simply sticking to the shastric [scriptural] regulation process and do not try to go beyond that...

The shastric process is kanishtha-adhikara, lowest stage of devotional service… This is nice beginning, but one has to go above this… If I become satisfied only with these regulative principles for worshiping… but if I have no other idea, then sa bhaktah prakrtah smrtah. Prakrta means on the material platform.

…So any devotee can fall down if he remains prakrta-bhakta. So he has to raise himself above this in the madhyama-adhikara [intermediate stage]…

Therefore, if we do not associate with the advanced devotees, uttama-adhikari, if we simply want to remain in the lowest stage of devotional service, then we are not making progress. Then we shall simply enjoy the material field, without entering into the spiritual platform.

    • Gadādhara Pandit Das Accept that which is favourable for bhakti, reject that which is unfavourable. The Vraja gopis being the highest example, would use their surya puja as an excuse to meet with Krishna.
    • Gadādhara Pandit Das But they would abandon all varieties of religion and simply surrender to him as their sole maintainer; in order to obtain him.
    • Tamohara Dasa Yukta vairagya; Everything is meant for His services. In Goloka, the devotees also have their spouses, children, homes and work; but it is part of yogamay's perfect panorama of scenes from a blissful eternity. Here, all is temporary, therefore, as GPD notes, one should accept the favorable things that bring one a deeper love due to increasing the quality of one's eternal spiritual services to the spiritual master and his servants. Sarva dharman parityaja, abandon all varieties of dharmas and reilgiosity, and surrender to Him! That is the ultimate purpose of religions. Gita, 18;66 Raganuga simply means one is in love with Krsna and the process and all that, one is serving because one is wanting to, not because it is required. From there, one must remember one's eternal service rasa, and /or awaken to the right one as the Lord desires, asap. Then it is purified fully, deathless, and this is the goal somehow or other, yet, one does not want to disturb the sadhana process, and the vaidhi practising devotees either, by being uncontrolled or unconscious of proper behaviors. An advanced devotee sets a good example.
    • Tamohara Dasa Your comments much appreciated Gadadhara Pandita Prabhu; they paraphrase Gita.
    • Gadādhara Pandit Das Yes, we should not disturb the faith of others. We should preach by example and this will inspire others. After all, actions speak louder than words.
