SILVER TONGUED GBC AND THE POLITICS OF DENIAL
And now, a few words about the latest news in the poison issue and the continued GBC obfuscation and cover-ups…
Those with silver-tongues are good at persuading people, very often of things that are outright false. “Silver-tongued” alludes to the dark and evil side of a person hidden behind a saintly smile, or to one who has a clever way with words. This would accurately describe the ISKCON GBC for the last almost five decades, as they have fooled the devotees with high-sounding proclamations and authoritative-sounding resolutions. Each year ISKCON’s Lawbook adds more contradicting and anomalous rules and policies which have rendered the Divine Mission of the ISKCON Founder-Acharya Srila Prabhupada crippled, covered, and spoiled.
“There is no evidence at this time to support the allegations of poisoning of Srila Prabhupada.” (GBC resolution, 2000)
Noteworthy are the illustrious GBC’s resolutions in 2000 and 2017 which completely deny the massive evidence, or that there is any evidence at all, that Srila Prabhupada was homicidally poisoned by his own caretakers. It is a matter of uncontested history that those “caretakers” and their supporters, right after Srila Prabhupada’s physical departure, then hijacked the Hare Krishna Movement by installing themselves as fake successor acharyas, developing and embedding a novel, deviant, and preposterous guru-initiation system into ISKCON. Their idea is that any conditioned-soul, neophyte devotee who is apparently “in good standing,” with the no-objection vote approval of the GBC, is then somehow authorized by Srila Prabhupada and Vedic shastra (??!) to become the deliverer of cheated disciples as supposed current links in the disciplic succession of self-realized acharyas.
Of course, this idea has been embarrassed and discredited by the “falldowns” of over 60% (so far) of GBC-ratified initiating gurus. The lurid scandals never stop- such as the recent love-sex relationship between the aged Giriraja “Swami” and his young female disciple. This was explained as due to an unfortunate medical condition. Yes, true story. Miraculously, the GBC’s façade of credibility still has not totally collapsed and… (“there’s a sucker born every minute…”).
As for the issue of having fraudulently and deceitfully covered-up Srila Prabhupada’s 1976-77 lethal heavy metals poisoning, the GBC still pretends it did not happen.
After a major forensic report was released by Justice For Srila Prabhupada Foundation (JFSPF) in Sept. 2024, confirming the GBC insiders’ poisoning as deliberate and homicidal, the GBC has been in a state of quiet shock. Leaks from their ranks reveal a growing panic, as they stick to their attorney-advised policy of using proxies to fault-find the hard evidence, confusing the devotee world with unscientific obfuscations based on fraud and misinformation.
Agents such as Hari Sauri, Deva Gaurahari, Tirtharaja, Mayeswara, and Brahmatirtha are secretly tasked as arms-length deniers who do the GBC’s dirty work while protecting their masters from direct legal liability.
Then, the GBC quotes their own agents as though they were qualified research analysts, stating that there was no poisoning, that it is only a vicious, dangerous conspiracy theory propagated by ISKCON’s enemies. However, their tricks and politics are wearing thin.
It seems the GBC wants the Bhaktivedanta Institute, headed by long-time Hrydayananda protégé Brahmatirtha, to be given access to the forensic reports so they can “better understand the analyses made.” Of course, this is not so they can appreciate the forensic determinations made by Truth Labs and other firms, but so they can ferret out some supposed defects and advise the GBC that, sure enough, Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning theory is still an evil plot by those darn ritviks!
Now, if the GBC was actually open to the truth in this matter, they would:
1. Conduct their own forensic analyses, such as test the 1977 hair samples that they have hidden away
2. Invite Truth Labs for a full forensic presentation of their study confirming the poisoning at their 2025 annual Mayapur meetings
3. Directly communicate with JFSPF instead of pushing for secret talks with their proxies who want access to the inner mechanisms of private firms to look for alleged defects to then disingenuously discredit their forensic conclusions
4. Agree to share all communications with JFSPF, including videos of all meetings, since there is nothing to hide, right?
Sadly, the GBC is not sincere nor actually interested to deal with the truth of Srila Prabhupada’s homicidal, lethal heavy metals poisoning. Why? Because this truth will expose them as complicit aiders and abettors of the poisoners and having covered-up this ultimate scandal for so long. Their days are numbered. Once their complicity is widely understood, they will all be compelled to resign and live in exile. “Oh, I did not know” will not be an acceptable excuse, even to the naïve Bengali who just took “initiation” from Lokanatha or Jayapataka Swamis.
These proxies are acting on the behest of the GBC with a pre-set agenda, which is to attack the credibility of the JFSPF, its constituents, and its consultants/ experts. See you in court, the ones in Delhi and in Yamaraja’s abode.
