Return to Prabhupada no 79 , 2024
GBC guru, SS Hridayananda Dasa Goswami ("HD"), was one of the original 11 rtviks appointed by Srila Prabhupada in the July 9, 1977 Directive to carry out initiations on his behalf. After Srila Prabhupada's physical departure, these 11 RTViks, including HD, dismissed this directive and instead usurped Srila Prabbupada's guru diksa position for themselves. In an interview published on 15/1/24, titled "Why the struggle of zonal mites", HD unknowingly proves that these 11 rtviks were not ordered to become diksa gurus. All the quotes in the shadow boxes are from this interview (all the highlights are mine).
Founder-Acarya and diksa guru
"Prabhupada actually had two positions... ] did not distinguish [... ] the two positions that Prabhupada had were number one: of course he was our diksa guru, but number two: he was the Founder-Acarya [] ] It was just a thing, indifferent [... ] everything was fused up"
In our book Srila Prabhupada - The Founder-Acharya of ISKCON: Presentation of the Conclusions of the Foundational Document of the GBC, we established, using both the statements of Srila Prabbupada and those of the GBC that:
1) Srila Prabhupada's position as "Founder-Acarya" meant that he would always be the Founder and Acarya of ISKCON.
2) This meant that he would also be the diksa guru of ISKCON, as there was no difference in his position as Acarya and diksa Guru of ISKCON.
By accepting that Srila Prabhupada never differentiated between the two positions she held in ISKCON, HD is supporting the conclusions of the aforementioned book that Srila Pravhupada will always be the Founder, Acarya and diksa guru of ISKCON.
No orders for diksa gurus
"He left no special or specific instructions on how to be a guru." [... ] Prabhupada never explained how to be a guru other than the Founder-Acarya. [... ] in terms of practical application, you know, rituals, ceremonies, not a word. Not a single word. "
HD emphatically admits *3* times that Srila Prabhupada did not leave instructions on how her disciples would become successors diksa gurus. And so they built their successor diksa guru system as follows:
"You've got to see what works... ] there was trial and error. "
Therefore, HD states that:
1) Srila Prabhupada did not give instructions to guide his disciples regarding the most crucial matter of how they would become successors diksa gurus and how they would act as such....
